Versatile Chicken Toscana - Step 3

Juice one lemon and (depending on how juicy the lemon was) add 1/2 to all of the juice. You are basically aiming for 1/8 to 1/4 cup, depending on how strong you like a lemon flavor. If you like your dish very lemony, go with 1/4 cup, but know that you will have to drain some of the liquid off before attempting to brown the chicken. Otherwise, you'll end up poaching the chicken.
