Behr's Metalmark (Apodemia virgulti) on Ms. Plummer's Baccharis (Baccharis plummerae, Asteraceae)

This is a Mormon Metalmark (Apodemia mormo) butterfly in the woods today - probably "Behr's Metalmark" (Apodemia mormo virgulti aka Apodemia virgulti). It's working new staminate (pollen-bearing) summer flowers of native Ms. Plummer's Baccharis aka Smooth Baccharis (Baccharis plummerae) in the Asteraceae plant family. Even in the heat of summer, in a drought year, there are new flowers and butterflies in the woods! (Santa Ynez Mountains, 4 September 2013)
This photo is proof that my sciatica-type back and leg pains are finally getting better! I couldn't have taken this photo a week ago.
