CSX has trackage rights from Jackson, TN to Milan, TN on the old Illiois Central. Here an SD-40-2 departs Iselin yard and heads north on the old GM&O and crosses over its own trackage. This is looking west towards Memphis, TN and the track ends 5 miles west of here was pulled up in 1969 to (Cordova) Memphis. The CSX track heading east was pulled up in 1983, from Jackson to Lexington, TN, which was L&N and before that the NC&StL I always think of the Yellow Jackets 4-8-4, running under this bridge and also the 'City of Memphis", 4-6-2 streamlined passenger train, that ran from Nashville to Memphis in 5 1/2 hours.
