RD6294. SGT. MURPHY, a 7¼” gauge third scale model of a Kerr Stuart Haig class 0-6-2T 2T which can be found on the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway in Hampshire.
The real full size SGT. MURPHY was originally built as an 0-6-0T in 1918 for use in the First World War, but the additional trailing wheels were added in 1991 by Winson Engineering of Penrhyndeudraeth.
It now runs on the Teifi Valley Railway in South West Wales having previously been on the Ffestiniog Railway and the Penrhyn Quarry Railways.
