Snoot, pt. 2 - _TNY_1936
I took my wife on a rather long walk through parts of Stockholm (around 20 km) back in late June (of 2025) and figure it could be cool to bring the macro rig with me.
This worked out great in that I found a bunch of cool bugs to shoot, but also made it apparent that a large fulframe DSLR plus lens and a diffused flash became a bit heavy after a while. Also, I can't remember the last time I got som many curious stares as whne we walked through Stockholm Old Town with that thing on my chest.
Anyways, this is a small (2.5-3 mm) strawberry blossom weevil (Anthonomus rubi) which my wife spotted climbing down a stem on a large rose bush in the Zinkensdamm allotment garden.
