Thanks to NPU Education Professor John Laukaitis for joining in the dot painting on my piece Without Moving (after Guy Chase) which is currently on exhibit at in the student union of Northeastern Illinois University in conjunction with my exhibition re. Rainbow Girl which is in the university's gallery. It was great to have a colleague venture into working on this project.
John laukaitis will be moderating a conversation / presentation that Catherine Prescott and I will be doing this afternoon at North Park University. At 3:45 Catherine (who is currently having an exhibition in the gallery at North Park University) and I will be doing a joint presentation around the idea of "truth" in relation to portraiture and painting. This event will be in the Boardroom on the 3rd floor of the new Johnson Center of North Park University.
And tomorrow, Friday, September 18, from 6 - 9 pm there will be the closing reception for my exhibition at Northeastern Illinois University.
