Notes:
This is my favorite shot of the night. It has everything I try to capture in a shot from the surreal colors and tonal range to the abstract composition. Everyone else but Rizzolo and I had already bailed but I just kept saying just one more shot… The stairs you see here are white like the elevators in the background. The orange is the result of the stairs being bathed in light by adjacent high-pressure sodium lighting building up over the exposure time.

The nightshift crew this time out: Judyboy, skazama, rizzolo, Douglass and RTLM401.
Unfortunately, it was also the last night we will be shooting with Douglass (formerly Flickrless Doug) as he is moving to Virginia. We were also missing LaRizzoloca – she was on a beach in Fiji for the start of her round-the-world backpacking adventure. But, we did add someone new on the nightshift this time: RTLM401.
