Striding out

The Benedictine monastery of Montserrat sits at an altitude of nearly 1000m, nestling in the side of the mountain. Founded in 976, thousands of newly married couples come here each year to seek the blessing of La Moreneta. This large enclosed quadrangle has beautiful lines on the marble floor.
