Spitz AP3 Projector at the Hammond Planetarium
This is the Spitz AP3 planetarium projector. The large ball has about 1500 very tiny holes drilled in it (some of the larger holes have tiny little lenses on them.) and projects on the planetarium dome above.
This projector is installed in the Hammond Planetarium at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn Michigan.
The stars in the background are being actively projected as I'm taking this shot.
