I believe this project is needed because all babies deserve the best start possible. This project was started because working in the community we consistently saw expecting mothers who were in dreadful situations and for women and girls in these situations, there is no baby shower. They can’t afford to celebrate the new life because they are just trying to make it to the next day. This program is educational for these expecting mothers and offers topics that are extremely important to the well-being of their babies. The CUSP Cares Community Baby Shower wants to ensure every baby born to the mothers who participate in our program, is safe from the start, healthy and smart!
