On April 9, 2012, Teaching for Change was honored to co-host the book launch for Lisa Delpit’s new book "Multiplication Is for White People": Raising Expectations for Other People's Children (The New Press). The event was held at Busboys and Poets - 14th & V with additional sponsors Busboys and Poets, The New Press (one of their 20th anniversary events) Center for Inspired Teaching, NCSS (National Council for the Social Studies), and the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
