the view from my window at Candlewood Suite
I usually hear different kinds of bird singing every morning when I wake up and love the singing a lot. The birds are in the trees but I haven't got a chance to see them yet...
Inside, a group of cyclamen blossoms pose quietly in front of the rising snow-lines on the outside window-sill.
A trip on the Severn Valley Railway offers excellent views of The Devil's Spittleful and Rifle Range nature reserve. The mound is The Devil's Spittleful itself - who knows what he was digging for?

This is my very first entry for May to the Wheel of the Year project.
I'm really pleased with the light in this - love the clouds. The sun is in a very different position now it's almost summer!
It's supposed to be horrible weather today, so I thought this photo would be a bust - but if that's the only burst of sun for the day, then that's good enough for me.
A blank page, a cup of morning coffee, and a view...all I need to get started into the day. Foggy this morning...and salt in the air. Heavy layers of gray overhead.

This is my very first entry for April to the Wheel of the Year project.
The clocks went forward recently so the light contrast is quite different. Also, typical April, although it's sunny there are showers on and off so there's little blurry halos from the raindrops on the window.
