The Azure Window (Maltese: Tieqa Żerqa) is a Limestone natural arch on the Maltese island of Gozo. It is situated near Dwejra Bay on the Inland Sea. The formation, which was created after two limestone sea caves collapsed, is popular with scuba divers, but no diving today since the sea was too rough...

Stained glass windows in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This is the window of a shop on the Royal Street of New Orleans. My favorite street in my second favorite city in US. So colorful, so lovely, so lively! Just like the life in that city. NOLA always welcomes everyone with a big warm hug and never shows her visitors a dull moment😍 Thank you for your visit.

This is little Sethi enjoying a rare sunny moment on the windowsill in the living room. He has only recently discovered the fascination of birds and therefore the windowsill has become one of his favourite spots for a rest. I liked the reflection of his face in the window although the glass was quite dirty due to the recent rainy weather. The window consists of double glass, thus the double reflection.

Happy Window Wednesday Folks

Lo sguardo sul mondo, dove un filo sottile divide la pazzia dalla normalità....

A hasty grab shot. taken whilst simultaneous trying to distract my GLW from the contents of the jeweller's window and an attempt at a half decent composition. Tricky.

I'd say, with that determined look on his face, he appears to be ready to take on that world big time; and I'm happy to be able to report, nearly half a century later, that he definitely has - really big time. This was one of those lucky moments when I just happened to have my camera handy and quickly grabbed the shot.

I first posted this resurrected oldie five years ago, but since I've been working with Topaz recently, I realized there was more resurrecting I could do with it. Then again, considering how clearly I've shown the deteriorated condition of the window of our Connecticut home, maybe I'd have been better off leaving it alone... (we "fixed" the deterioration by selling the house and fleeing to California before the buyer found out how deteriorated the place really was...)

Mostly all my butterflies are shot in the wild in the woodland adjacent to our town when I take my pointer for his exercise, and are mostly of the COMMON species. They, however, become VERY SPECIAL when you have to run after one and in the process expose yourself to snakebites, spiders and all other sorts of insects, even lion and leopard attacks. We do not have the luxury of butterfly farms and have to shoot handheld while most of the time out of breath as a result of all these activities.
