Thank you everyone for your comments, this photo made it into explore at #25 for 29/08/07!!

I text way too much. I have to empty my inbox so much it's kinda sad.

In case you were wondering, when I get a txt Mike Lange yells at me and tells me Fleury just made an amazing save :D and when I get a picture message Will Ferrell sings from Stepbrothers.

And my ringtone is Boys of Winter :] (during hockey season, off season its Gives you Hell)

Will Ferrell and André Benjamin (Andree 3000) were in the studio today to do an interview with Don Lemon. They are promoting their new movie Semi-Pro. Taken February 14, 2008.

"Yeah!! I'm ready!! WOO WOOO!!!"

"HAHA! Okay, let's go, Ron!"

"You got it, Chachi, my new bud!"

Testing out the scale on these motocross bikes from Dollar Tree. They seem pretty perfect for Mego size. Mego sized motorcycles for $1!!

And, if you remember the Mego vehicles from the 70s, quality wise, these are just as good and probably better in detail. 😏

So I just a few weeks ago I rewatched this film on Netflix, I remember how amazing and funny it was, I really love that part with the "Forget Me Stick". So of course because of all of that I had to make him, his body was pretty easy and fun to design. his shoulderpads are close enough to the ones he has, I didn't add spikes on him because my markers wouldn't work at the time, part of his cape was copied from the Shark Army General's because when I tried painting on the actual cape it wouldn't stay, and the top of his head is sculpted, originally I was planning on making something similar to Egghead's headpiece, but Megamind's head is in a particular shape, and I think I matched it pretty well. Also his gun looks pretty good, but I wanted the gold studs to be flat, I couldn't find any that I had at the time, and of course he also has a dehydrated cube, I also plan on making Minion soon.

My last Christmas fig this year, and probably the last figure I'll post this week, I'll be busy with a lot of stuff, I'll for sure upload more stuff next week, but anyways here's Buddy. I think the head for him looks close enough for him, but I absolutely love how the rest of him looks, from the hair/hat combo, the body, and the legs. Happy Christmas Eve and an early Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Quanzah, Lief Erikson Day, and whatever other Holiday you might celebrate to all of you!

Makes me want to try my hand duplicating the logo…

I took some photos at a Hollywood themed Ping Identity company party where one of our corporate attorneys single-handedly dispelled just about every stereotype I can think of for corporate attorneys.

It's been used in the careers area of our site www.pingidentity.com/about-us/careers/ and in an article in VentureBeat venturebeat.com/2013/03/20/nine-tips-for-creating-a-kille...

While some may hyped for the holiday's, I'm excited to think of taking a vacation again someday.

Recruiting for the Imperial army...

Two Christmas classics, Elf and The Elf on a Shelf on cereal boxes.

It's Buddy the elf, from the 2003 movie Elf!

Technically I guess Buddy's not actually an elf, but a human raised by elves.

Elf is one of the very few— make that only— Will Ferrell movies I can stand to watch. In just a few short years it's become a bonafide holiday classic.

Much of the film's North Pole production design was inspired by that of the Rankin/Bass Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer TV special, particularly the sets, landscapes, the various talking animals and especially Leon the Snowman.

In fact Buddy's costume is practically identical to that of the Elf Foreman in Rudolph.

Elf is also where I first heard the traditional Xmas song Baby, It's Cold Outside. I was aware of the song but had never actually sat down and listened to it until Buddy and his girlfriend Jovie sang it in the film. I was appalled to learn that it's basically a cheerful ode to date rape. But I digress.

Buddy is a vector drawing, done all in InDesign.

I'm also on Twitter for some reason.

Finally got the chance to go in the place after what seemed like a few years of driving by it on 25th. Great spot to chill. I miss cafes like this. It's not that I'm uppity. I just appreciate ambiance and space for thought outside of my house. When urbis orbis closed in the 90's the old wicker park officially died and to a lesser degree cafe cafina as well. New cafes opened but never filled the same role as the epicenter of exchange between artists. The northside has a few but they are not as common as they used to be. Some of this can be blamed on Starbuck's but a lot of has to do with changes in culture where you just don't have the time to hang. You want it fast and to go. Sitting and reflecting are a things of the past. Someday memories will be a thing of the past too.

If you are ever over in little village or just want an adventure go check out the cafe then walk 26th street and take in a unique neighborhood: Little Village

Oh yeah for movie buffs Will Ferrell shot scenes for "stranger than fiction here"

The influx of income (and population-dependent tax base) from the automotive industry allowed for construction of many of Flint's treasured buildings, including the Capitol Theatre, downtown. It is key to preserve such buildings which remain, even as Flint continues to redefine itself.

This home was used for the 2005 movie "Bewitched" starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell. It is a private residence in the city of Los Angeles.

This home is located at 510 S Lucerne Blvd, Los Angeles.

The 2005 comedy "Bewitched" with Nicole Kidman found themselves on location at this private residence in Studio City.

This home is located at 4427 Radford Avenue.

A special thanks to Lindsay for this location.

Tonight, I'll volunteer for the Winter Light Spectacular program, photographing some displays after dark. The zoo is booked for a private event with a local college.

This is the reaction I get every Monday morning when I wake the kids up and tell them its time for school! haha

I'm pretty sure there is a few adults that feel the same way about Mondays and going back to work! haha

Or as Kris noted, the perils of suntanning...
