“High amid the branches of a towering tree that stood in centre of all there gleamed a white flet. At the feet of the trees, and all about the green hillsides the grass was studded with small golden flowers shaped like stars.”

"A dark power dwells in there. Such as I have never felt before. It is the shadow of an ancient horror. One that can summon the spirits of the dead. I saw him, Gandalf, from out of the darkness. A Necromancer has come!" -Radagast

I built this sometime in May (I believe), and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Sorry about the bad picture, I was having a pretty rough time with the lighting on this one. Let me know what you think!
To God be the glory,

“I found it. I did. The way through the marshes. Orcs don't use it. Orcs don't know it. They go round for miles and miles. Come quickly. Soft and quick as shadows we must be.”
Proud to show you my installment for the #thirdagecollab that has been taking place over the past few weeks. Our journey follows scenes along the roads of Middle Earth and their importance. This part includes the scene with Frodo, Sam and Gollum as they hide from the Fellbeast and his rider. Using the freeform technique, I was able to mix various plants and translucent green tiles to create this messy swamp. Be sure to check out the last installment coming soon on Northern Lego page. I’d also like to mention a major thanks to Blaine's World for sponsoring this collaboration and another thanks to the participants tagged for helping make such a great collaboration with so many awesome MOCs.
“To Isengard! Though Isengard be ringed and barred with doors of stone;
Though Isengard be strong and hard, as cold as stone and bare as bone,
We go, we go, we go to war, to hew the stone and break the door;
For bole and bough are burning now, the furnace roars - we go to war!”
I am happy to present my latest MOC for the #thirdagecollab representing the wall of Isengard during the assault of the Ents of Fangorn. I hope you like it!
Go follow norlego to be sure to catch the next episode coming out this Saturday and trust me, you do NOT want to miss this one ;)

"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit hole, and that means comfort..."

"The Great Gate in the City wall was at the east point of the circuit, but the next faced half south, and the third half north, and so to and fro upwards."

▪The Great Gate of Minas Tirith▪
You are looking at the tenth part of The Third Age-Journey Through Middle Earth Collaboration! I built the main gate of Minas Tirith to minifigure scale and to a level of detail not seen before in other builds of this online. I really enjoyed building this over the course of a couple weeks, and especially making all the minifigures for it! This MOC will be refined and added on to during Christmas break this year, so this is not a completely finished product!

«Within the mighty wall and thorny fence rise the roofs of houses; and in the midst, set upon a green terrace, there stands aloft a great hall of Men. And it seems that it is thatched with gold. The light of it shines far over the land. Golden, too, are the posts of its doors.»
I am proud to present the 9th installment in the #ThirdAgeCollab, The Golden Hall of Meduseld, located in Edoras, the capital of Rohan. This is my favourite location in Middle-Earth and to build it was an amazing experience.
Be sure to follow all the builders tagged, and check SpartanBricks' account to see the next part in the collab coming out on Wednesday.

The quest has been leading up to this very moment... Thorin and Company has made their way to the kingdom buried within the mountain, that withholds a treasure larger than any other. The Battle for the mountain begins.
Hey guys this is the fourth episode in the third age collaburation and it represents Erebor from a concept picture from the book.
What do you guys think?
Next episode will be posted on Saturday by Carter Witz on Flickr
"It was deep, deep, dark, such as only goblins that have taken to living in the heart of the mountains can see through.The passages were crossed and tangled in all directions. And they went down, and down, and it was most horribly stuffy."

This is also part of a 3 way moc-off with Roanoke Handybuck and Carter Witz that started back in april, but someone took like 5 months to finish...
2019 was a wild year! It was definitely my best year in this amazing LEGO community! I wanted to share a few highlights!
The year started out with planning and building for the Second Age Collaboration! After the success of Third Age, we wanted to dive deeper into the lore of Middle-Earth! I was able to build The Siege of Imladris, and this is my favorite MOC that I've built to date. And overall the collaboration was a lot of fun!
Then in June I was able to attend BrickWorld Chicago! It was my first time that I was able to display at a LEGO convention and I had the time of my life! I met so many amazing people that I knew online, and made tons of memories! Shoutout to my RebelLUG hydrohomies! My Second Age MOC was also nominated for Best Medieval Building!
One huge highlight of BrickWorld, and 2019 was building for the Laceropes Mission! It was such a cool experience to display a collaboration in person and then release it online a week later! And it was a huge success! I built In the Dark - The Laceropes Mission Part 5 and this is also a favorite MOC of mine!
My problem is that I have too many ideas and not enough time to build them. One idea of mine that I started was the Island of Discovery series. It was supposed to be a three part series, with a story, where I make a vignette, and pack as much detail as possible. I finished the first two parts and I'm very pleased with them. (Part three will be coming this year)
Later in the fall there was, RebelLUG's Vignweek challenge. It was a lot of fun building a vignette-a-day, but very tiring. My favorites from that week were: Gladiators, I received second place for the day on this one. And Twisted, and I recieved first place on this vignette for the day!
And then I closed out 2019 with a Star Wars MOC: Good Soldiers Follow Orders
Thank you to all who made 2019 incredible!
Soli Deo Gloria!
-Caleb
