Pfaffenhof I is a student residence on the campus of Vaihingen, 3 minutes from the S-bahn Universität. The buildings are of the 70s, and have received an architectural award for its distribution.
Situated almost next door to Inverness Castle, the famous Student Hotel enjoys wonderful panoramic views of the town,the River Ness and the mountains beyond.

The life-size sculpture is made of bronze. The girl leans her back against the facade of the Palace and crosses her left leg behind her, with the toe of her shoe on the ground. She wears summer sandals and carries books on her right arm.
Its author, Antonio Santín, baptized it Tras Julia. One day,

The Student Experience Amsterdam Zuidas offers 800 student studios of approximately 21m2 with their own bathroom and kitchen. Facilities such as a sports field on the roof with a view of the Zuidas skyline.
The building was designed by OZ Architect, which is specialized by mixed use urban architecture and redevelopment projects.
Technical stuff
This a single shot at 200ISO, f11, -2/3EV, 1/150 at 55 mils. Post-production was done in Lightroom and consisted of converting it to black and white and cropping it. Finally, I added the copyright signs (in Photoshop). The latter is, alas, there to stay due to the frequent copying of my photos. So, don't bother commenting on that.

Midwifery student Nicky "opted in to work during the pandemic", which left her "worried for vulnerable people but glad the hospital is taking measures to protect patients and staff." She says "it's been hard with staff shortages and isolations, but there have been a lot of people coming forward to help." She hopes "NHS staff continue to get the recognition they deserve."
Nicky is one of 67 NHS staff I photographed across George Eliot Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic first wave.
"Humans of the Pandemic" features portraits and thoughts from many roles incl. doctors, domestics, maternity, mortuary, nurses, pathology, pharmacy, physio, and surgery – to name a few.

The Police van was left 'abandoned' by the police to give justification for their controversial kettling tactics, and so the BBC and the rest of the worlds media can discredit the protest and focus on the violence, just as Royal Bank of Scotland in the City of London was mysteriously the only building in the area during the G20 protests not to be boarded up and subsequently smashed.
