My great-great-grandfather lived in this house. It was called Thorndean. No longer exists, sadly. It does look slightly like a gingerbread house.
This is the image before I painted it. It's always tough to paint a drawing because the image changes so drastically with colour and depth. New innuendos are added... new stories are told. I'm quite happy with this once painted. But am glad I scanned it first without the paint. I like seeing both.
