A Mourning Dove is cleared for landing. He used our Camas Basalt rock as a pit stop, before proceeding to the seed feeding station.

A seed on one of our Pittosporum trees. The seed pods are approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and I like the way the seeds are layered inside the pod.

Dandelion Seed
Somehow it became attached to one of the canes on our grape vine. Yes, I know, the vine should be pruned and ready for rolling on by now. It will be done in the next week!
For Macro Mondays of 17th April, theme Seeds (NO DANDELIONS!) . I wanted to use a seed currently in our garden, found next to the dandelion seeds (LOL) that the ivy seeds are turning lovely dark. Fits well with a light background.
