The panorama option of an iPhone is such a seductive feature, but it always gets me in trouble. I usually select it when I'm trying to take in EVERYTHING. Alaska is so big it seems like a perfect match for pano after pano. I want to capture the incredible majesty of the state all at once, dang it! That seldom works for me. I get weird angles and distorted corners and sagging borders when I can't hold the phone steady to show it all. But every now and then I can use some discipline and "see" a simple scene to isolate that actually works in wide, wide, wide angle.
