Dieses Gebäude hab ich schon einmal 2005 fotografiert, allerdings mit einer grottenschlachten Kamera und bei einem mehr als nur miesen Wetter. Letztes Jahr hatte ich unwahrscheinliches Glück... zumindest mit dem Wetter. Da man bei der Kamera nicht gerade von Glück sprechen kann.
This building I've ever photographed 2005, but with a grotto slaughter camera and at a more than just lousy weather. Last year I had improbable happiness ... at least with the weather. Since you can not just talk about luck with the camera.

A juvenile queen triggerfish (Balistes vetula). This one is probably about 2-3cm from head to tail. Small, but not as small as an earlier find (posted here). Nevertheless, they are a rare find, so it was a thrill. No luck getting a sandy background, but the clean blue will do.
Queen triggerfish grow up to be some of the most beautiful and impressive fish on the reef. As adults their fins become more dramatic and their coloration is stunning. But like with most creatures, small is cute.

Queen buttefly at Tohono Chul Park. When we got to Tucson last November, there were still lots of flowers in bloom and it was warm enough for butterflies. Lucky us.

Queen's View lies at the heart of Highland Perthshire.
When Queen Victoria visited in 1866, she assumed that the sweeping view west along Loch Tummel was named after her – but she was wrong. It is more likely the view was really named after Isabella, the first wife of Robert the Bruce, who lived more than 500 years earlier.
This image has been produced many times by photographers over the years. The view is of Loch Tummel looking west from the viewing platform called “Queen’s View”. The body of water is often called Loch Scotland because the outline of the water looks like the shape of the country. You can’t see it as well as you used to because the trees to image right have grown considerably in recent years and chops off the east coast.
You can’t really do too much to change the viewpoint with this shot so all you can do is try to get the best possible conditions. Alas, as is so often the case I didn’t plan this particularly well and missed the best of the light. I had been in the north west of Scotland earlier in the day and thought I could chance a sunset on route south. It didn’t quite work out as bright or as nice as I would have liked but there is a lot of drama going on in that sky.
I think this is a Queen Bee, my wife thinks it's a Bumblebee.

The Queen butterfly (Danaus galippus) looks very similar to the Monarch butterfly, especially with its wings closed, and its caterpillars also eat milkweed. Once you know a few simple tricks, though, it's easy to tell the two apart. Range: Monarchs have a much wider range. With their wings open, the difference is even more obvious. The Queen is solid, the Monarch has varied coloration.
Several Queen species of butterflies have been here all week drinking from these invasive vines. They are often mistaken for the popular Monarch. HMM!!
