“As a chaplain, I recognize that the body and mind are important, but the spirit really drives the train,” said Chaplain (Lt. Col.) Jon Hollenbeck, deputy chief, Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care, TAMC. “(Spirit is) what gets you through the difficult and tough times of life (and is) what grounds and centers you.”

Proverbs 17:22
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
😇 Lord will always help you! Stay Blessed! 😇
Building upon yesterday’s theme of God’s financial system, we have:
“There is one who scatters, and increases yet more.
There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.
The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself.”
Proverbs 11 verses 24-25
One of my favourite words is ‘Largesse’ which is defined online as, “a generous act of kindness or a generous gift of money.” Believers that express largesse are being liberated from the love of money, the deceitfulness of riches, the cares of this age, and the love of other things. As such, the Word can bear fruit in them 30x, 60x, and even 100x what is sown.
The Financial Principles of the Kingdom of Heaven are those of generosity – learning experientially that it is indeed more blessed to give than receive.

Proverbs 11:30-31 NIV
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.
If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner!

Proverbs 29, wise and true
Lessons here for me and you
Stiff-necked pride will bring a fall
Righteous leaders bless us all
Fools with rage, their tempers flare
Justice and mercy, a leader's care
Flattery is a tempting snare
Wicked deeds, their own despair
Compassion for the poor and weak
Mockers stir up hate and speak
Wisdom in court brings a good report
Upright joy, bloodthirsty men distort.
Proverbs 21:20
There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise ... (KJV)

Sĕmut gatal nak gonggong gunong. Bagaimana dunia tak sunyi? -- bidalmelayu.wordpress.com/2010/11/18/semut-gatal-nak-gong...
"He who has a generous eye will be blessed;
for he shares his food with the poor."
Proverbs 22 verse 9.
The Hebrew word used for 'generous' is 'good'. This reminds us of what Jesus declared, "If your eye be good, your whole body will be full of light. (See Matthew 6 verse 22) The way we Christians see the world should be through the eyes of Christ... the viewpoint of unconditional love.
Ours is an abundant view, a generous view. In another proverb it promises that whoever gives to the poor lends to the Lord and He will repay the generous person.
Kindness, compassion, generosity is the Way of Christ.

DO YOU REMEMBER PEN FRIENDS?
If you did, you'll remember the excitement of getting a letter from your pen pal. This was all the more so if your pen pal was from a far country. You'd get an envelope or postcard with exotic stamps.
Most of us are 'thirsty souls' from time to time. All of us benefit from a bit of good news and a catch up with an old friend. Let's take today's proverb as an encouragement to send a message to a friend who's been far off (whether that be in a far country or out of touch for a while.) Let's also wrap our message in positive words to bring refrehment like cold water to a thirsty soul.
Proverbs 25 verse 25:
Like cold water to a thirsty soul,
so is good news from a far country.
