I suggest you use the provided Rainbow-Cable and 1x10 female connector to make a Cable that connects to your Shruthi-1. Use the red Wire as +5v, always facing towards the LED in the Programmer Board. The next 4 Wires connect to the Output Expansion Port on the Shruthi in the same order as in the Programmer PCB. The last, opposite outer Pin must connect to IN1 on the Shruthis Digital Board. If you have a Digital Board prior to V0.6 you can solder the Wires directly to the Board, PIC available on request.

I hacked a power switch into my programmer instead of the silly little jumper that I lost about 5 minutes after receiving the kit. The switch turns on/off power to the chip being programmed.
With it on, the programmer can be used as a low-current power supply to, say, a chip in a prototype board. Or with it off, the programmer can be used to reprogram a chip in a fully powered, production, environment.

The Wowd / Jildy development team is in Serbia, and they are a whip-smart group of programmers who connected at the Mathematical Olympiads. This was their first visit to California.
They set out to build a different kind of search engine, one that the founding programmers of Google, Yahoo and Skype said would never work. Under the covers, it is the “Skype of search” with no servers or webcrawlers, and that required a fundamentally different architecture... so they built a distributed hash table file system (DHTFS) and are now busy mining eigenvalues of our social graphs to improve ranking and make search more social.
They reminded me of the original Skype development team in Estonia.

Outgoing, energetic, and passionate about public lands stewardship, Janice Shepherd is a retired computer programmer who has made significant contributions to the Grand Junction Field Office since beginning her volunteer service there in 2010. She has worked with BLM cultural resources, rangelands, planning, and recreation staff members throughout the jurisdiction of the field office and its two national conservation areas. A hiker and geocacher who loves to explore, Janice completed an inventory of climbing sites within the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area, gathering and processing GPS data and photo-documenting climbing routes. She is a trained Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado crew leader and trail monitor, regularly contributing to trail maintenance and construction projects. Janice has also been instrumental in the coordination of annual National Public Lands Day cleanups, enlisting the aid of BLM resource staff as well as partner organizations such as Great Old Broads for Wilderness (of which she is a proud member). She is also a trained cultural resources site steward, and is so capable with tasks from field work to paperwork that BLM archaeologists trust her to prepare documentation on even priceless, isolated finds. She is currently working on a report of such finds that will be reviewed and shared with the State Historic Preservation Officer. Janice provides a much-needed extra set of eyes and ears in the field: with more than six years of volunteer work under her belt, she recognizes and reports potential resource issues so BLM staff can respond promptly.

The AS/400 Programmers/Analysts for the (now closed) Huntington WV location of Applied Card Systems (ACS). A good bunch of people working for a company that treated them very poorly. ACS really made Dilbert's employer look great.
