AMURT UK London feeding programmes for homeless and disadvantaged children's families during covid-19
It always made me felt great working with a group of young, passionate & energetic university students over a weekend at Pork Dickson. It is indeed a wonderful experience which I was invited to conduct the SCHOLARS’ TRAINING PROGRAMME for 15 university students coming from different background, engineering, medicine, laws, business, pharmacy & accounting. We spend a great weekend in Bayu Bay Resort, Port Dickson going through some learning points on mindset alignment, expanding comfort zone, communication skills, team works, leadership & etc… Thank you for all your great participation and wishing the very best success on your study and career. I am sure you all are going to be somebody someday… Special appreciation to my best buddy /co-trainer James Ong for your time and efforts being with us over the weekend.
An old programme from my collection (from April 1950-3 months before I was born!). Harringay won 67-53.

Front cover from the theatre programme for a production of 'Death and the Maiden', staged by Keighley Playhouse in October 1995.
Keighley Playhouse's production of 'Death and the Maiden', by Ariel Dorfman, was performed at the Playhouse from Monday 9th to Saturday 14th October 1995. This was the second play in the 1995/96 season. The director of the Playhouse's version was Geoff Whitley.
The play is introduced in the programme: "Imagine a country immediately after a long period of harsh military dictatorship. Imagine a woman whose mental health has teetered on a knife-edge for the past fifteen years since she was horrifically tortured, when, quite by chance, she believes she recognises the voice of the suave, menacing doctor who was her chief torturer and manages to turn the tables on him. Can she convince her husband that she is not crazy? Can she convince him that she will not kill the doctor - and can she keep her word?"
Joan Whitley played Paulina with Mike Boothroyd as her husband and David Templeton as the Doctor. The action of the play takes part in a beach house.
The 12-page programme, printed by Kay Jay Print of Cross Hills, is part of the Christine Broadley Collection, donated by Christine in 2024.
