For the "Looking close... on Friday!" challenge "Seeds"
I was struggling for ideas, and tried bird seed, searched the spice rack for fennel seeds, but couldn't find an interesting shot. So I stopped to prepare the salad for lunch. And cut into a sweet pepper and laughed! I see them almost every day ... the seeds inside the sweet pepper! So I paused and took a few shots!

Pepper on this Perch is exhibiting his Passive-Aggressive side because that perch really truly belongs to Tikki. I think this may be the first time I've ever seen him up there. It is in some ways a good thing as he has lost some weight and he has the energy to get up there. (Losing weight is good, doing it this quickly is a bit troubling but his specialty vet got blood work earlier this week and it was perfect.) Oh yes, the Happy Caturday theme 17 October 2020 is 'Catphabet."

My photostream is lacking some colour and so I decided to take a photo of this sunny yellow pepper bell wearing a tomato hat. The cheerful cat in the background is a scratch board for the cats which I tacked to the door of a wardrobe after the cats had sharpened their claws on that door far too often. Needless to say that no cat has ever been interested in that scratch board.
I add a photo in the comments which shows the Dragon helping with the vegetable photo shoot. His job was to make sure that the pepper and tomatoes wouldn't run away. I suppose they knew that they would end up as my lunch after that short moment in the spotlight.
