christmas pepper from a flower arrangement

filled with styrofoam

After I came up with "Color From the Heart" I tried one other mix with the objective of keeping the cool color gradients but in a simplified format. I mixed "Pepper Art - 9 Frames w/Color" with "Pepper Polka Dots - This Week's Bonus Pic" and the texture from the kevlar speaker cone and that was it, at last I was done. This is what I wanted all along and no further mixing of the pepper will occur, this is it: "Pepper - The End" The images used to make this are in the first comment, enjoy and thank you, have a great Sunday.

Pepper on this Perch is exhibiting his Passive-Aggressive side because that perch really truly belongs to Tikki. I think this may be the first time I've ever seen him up there. It is in some ways a good thing as he has lost some weight and he has the energy to get up there. (Losing weight is good, doing it this quickly is a bit troubling but his specialty vet got blood work earlier this week and it was perfect.) Oh yes, the Happy Caturday theme 17 October 2020 is 'Catphabet."

Some days I have to remind myself that photography is a fun pursuit, today it felt like a bit of work. I oftentimes envision a shot but struggle to create it, that was how I felt today. I went out to take a photo of my bottle but the wind gusted and blew it over and shattered it on the sidewalk. I took a few shots of the broken bottle but then decided to clean it up and move on with something else.

Off to go see a fun kids play today and hang with my family. Enjoy your day, thanks for stopping by.

The subjects are sea shells. I placed them on a flat scallop shell and used a black pepper corn for scale.

Nothing like the green of a pepper plant for this moment anyway.

This is Pepper. He was born last summer and is still a resident in the same area of the park. Can't wait for seeing him in his winter pelt again: it is quite greyish and really beautiful (Squirrels-2020-1223.jpg)
