Starting the day with an open mind

So when I see that fog is incoming and there is actually a sun peaking out of the clouds, then I'm going bananas
I just know there can be a chance of cool light in my paradise

Not having expectations is a nice way of living
That is more or less how I live my life
I don't expect anything
I take it as I go along
If I am to meet new people I don't expect that they look like this, behave like this, say like this
I'm openminded
Therefore I never get disappointed either, in these meetings
How could I be disappointed
They act like they do because they are who they are
Who am I to put them in a box surrounded by my expectations, my presumptions
I'm not a God
If I did that I would probably be so disappointed that I would miss great persons in my life, because my expectations had ruined my first impression of them before they actually could come with themselves
Many people don't get their chances to show themselves because of our expectations
Think of all the people there is
All the marvelous great splendid personalities you will never get to know
Just because you in your mind thought they should look or act different
We really should be ashamed of ourselves
We don't need to love everybody 'out there', but we sure shouldn't be the one to judge why people has become what they have become
Give people a chance to come forward with themselves
I think you will be surprised
There are so many nice people 'out there', just waiting for you to get to know them

This is from 2018 when I DJ'd at a little lesbian club called "Fab". The club was flooded that day for a mermaid theme, but I didn't have a mermaid ensemble to wear, so did the next best thing I could:
I DJ'd by submarine. A yellow one of course.
Mermaids swam about me as I DJ'd from inside for two hours, coffee in hand. It was delightful :-)
I think I am the only person in SL to ever have DJ'd by submarine. Maybe even RL! ;-)

This picture is one of the 124 Flickr's servers up and "ate" out of 142 pictures I had journaled. For reasons unknown, Flickr "ate" the pictures and a team of six of their people took three days to find them again for me. For that I am thankful.

Well it was a crazy Monday when I uploaded this image. For some reason after some comments there was a huge blank spot until the next comment. A crazy flickr bug and I guess flickr was having the Monday blues too. Now it's Tuesday and only the name has changed. And so have the Monday blues. I hope everyone that's celebrating Thanksgiving has a great holiday and safe travels.

For months I had wanted to take my dear friend Panda out ballroom dancing and for reasons unknown to both of us, we never did...
Until tonight :-)
It was her Birthday last week and my 18th Resday, so we celebrated together at Franks Elite which DEFINES "Ballroom" in Second Life truly.
She wore a most princess poofy gown I had gifted her and I put on my finest suit so we could step out properly. Of course we dressed colours to match without knowing we were as we always do ;-)
I dipped and twirled her about. She sashayed, curtsied and moved in perfect time in response to me.
What a wonderful night :-)
I am so lucky and glad we are such good friends.
I am so lucky and glad we got to celebrate things in our lives together tonight.

Panda is a wonderful soul...an old soul...a caring soul...also a dear friend. She and I have built up a wonderful and true friendship over the last several months, but when we meet and talk, it feels like we are "Like Old Friends".
Almost every Sunday and sometimes more often, we meet up and explore SL, dance, sail or just...sit...and talk...
You wont find a better Red Panda to talk to in SL I can guarantee it...or a kinder one.
Panda is smart, silly, serious, salty, sultry, sexy and most importantly: someone special.

For reals though, the best part of my days lately are the ends of them as I am with Shesa in world, in her arms or her in mine and we just "are".
She is a loving "comfort" that I know is there always for me to lean on as I am for her.
The title should read "Shesa: Nice Comfort" perhaps instead, but when will I ever waste a chance to lay down a good pun? ;-)

Chance stopped in for the night to stay with me in my cabin at Turtle Mountain. A warm duvet and a hot Chance make for a rather cozy and safe place for the night that makes the snow storm outside seem miles away :-)

10. I love my country passionately, but I don’t put nationalism ahead of humanity and humane actions. We are all human beings together on ONE planet.
11. I believe in the natural balance of life on Earth, and I will fight to restore and protect it.
12. I am passionate about wolf reintroduction; they need to return to their place in the wild.
13. I love baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals. I know many, many people can’t understand it, and I’m okay with that, but to me it’s the purest sport in the world. There’s nothing like driving across the Midwest in the summertime with the windows down and a ballgame on the AM radio….
14. I want to live long and enjoy as much about this life as possible, and I want to share it with someone.
15. I long for the day when peace is the norm.
16. I believe in Love.

I have a wonderful friend who I treasure more then my own self. I say that because despite all odds against them they have fought a helluva demon that still likes to taunt and try to drag them back into Hell. The same demon took my Dad from me...
Each time I see or talk to them, I feel blessed for I never know if I might not see them again...or used to...they fight harder now and the Demon's taunts and seductions get quieter for them...I don't worry as much as I used to.
They aren't who they were now. They are much better. They are stronger.

Chance and I "chanced" upon each other last night. We are growing closer as friends. We both happened to be readying for bed, She agreed to sleep over with Hobbes and I as Hobbes is a very Brave and Handsome Tiger.
We miss our Katie so very much, but know that she can't control when she can be on. In the meantime, Chance and I take care of each other.
Last night she needed to be held tight and reassured. I was happy to oblige.
I love this pretty girl. She has rapidly become a nice friend.
We will be ok. PK will be back sooner then later. In the meantime, Chance and I watch out for each other. We check in every day and do our best to cover what Ms Katie Parx was able to give both of us. - unconditional love and caring.
Sleep well pretty girl...We are in good hands until PK gets back - each others.

Sooooooooooooo my girlfriend, the forever cute Ms Katie Parx, is BACK in the grid again after a brief absence and I am so H A P P Y about that!
Also, fortunately, my OTHER girlfriend, the ever gorgeous Ms Shesa Quandry, popped in to meet Katie for the first time with me, Katie present.
So it was a "quandry" with a Quandry, a Katie and a Katie! ;-)
WE had a wonderful visit on my back patio surrounded by the trees on the big, comfy couch.
I consider myself rather lucky to be loved by both of these remarkable women.

No, it's not a "throuple", it's me as the person who dates both separately. They just happen to get along and are friends :-)
