10-004, 162-002, and 162--03 have sequential numbers and annotations A15, A15, A16. 72 Suffield is a guess based on the date and identification of 10-017 as definitely 72 Suffield.

Steve says: I think it unlikely to be Suffield St. Take a look at 10-014 and 10-019. Different house styles, much older tree in front yard, and rising ground on opposite curb.

Steve doesn't look 4.5 here. Are these really 2/56 (tray 66.pdf), when Steve was 2.5? But he's wearing the same outfit, including red boots, blue suit, and "Steve" mittens, as in 5-104, 5-103, 5-108, which are all marked as 1958.

1959, Littleton, NH

Steve Ellis says: Based only on time of day and Dad dressed for work, my guess would be end of the approach end of the runway at Bradley, watching a B-52 do touch and go landing. I think the aircarft may have been based in Chicopee MA at Westover AFB and just practicing at Bradley. If one flew over the house in Windsor Locks we could get to Bradley fast enough to watch. I think we did that a couple of times around dinner time.

Tuna boat

Comfort R.I.

---

7/12/24: Authoritatively identified the shed on the left edge with the gambrel roof as in Provincetown, MA:

buildingprovincetown.wordpress.com/2010/01/04/16-macmilla...

---

The handwritten caption says "Comfort R.I." (see the corresponding slide mount photo), but Google Maps shows no such place. But the pic doesn't seem to correspond to any dock locations in Provincetown shown in Google Maps.

Perhaps they meant "Compton R.I", where a couple of boat photos were taken in 1960. But the handwritten "Comfort" isn't close to "Compton".

The two fishing boats, "Linda & Warren" and "Sea Fox", are mentioned as being repaired at a Provincetown boat yard in the 1940s or 1950s:

There's a pic of the Linda & Warren.

Steve says: In 1959, The Sea Fox homeport was New Bedford and Linda & Warren was homeported in Plymouth.

Steve wrote: "Go Bing Maps ( www.bing.com/maps ) and search for 72 Suffield St, Windsor Locks CT and then select Bird's eye view.

The water tower is just off the top of the default view.

"I started my search at the UNH Library, which has old New England topo maps online. I found the water tower on the 1953 map:
