BIZPRO NMEC Pastor Dennis Sy of Victory Greenhills Family Business Inc at New Millennium Evangelical Church BIZPRO Seminar Event last November 22, 2016

Constructed with a wooden frame, the chariot's body was entirely enclosed with wooden panels covered in canvas, stucco, and fine linen, which were carved with low-relief scenes depicting the pharaoh in battle or hunting. The chariot featured six-spoke wheels and was decorated with inlaid glass and ivory, showcasing the king smiting enemies, a common motif for royal power.

Dimensions: The body measured approximately 86 cm in height, 103 cm in width, and 52 cm in depth.

Condition: While the body was found intact, the tomb yielded only fragments of the yoke-saddle, pole, and leather trappings; notably, no wheels were found.

Reign Context: Thutmose IV ruled for a short period of about 9 years (approx. 1419–1410 BC), and this chariot likely served for desert patrols and ceremonial displays rather than active warfare.

Discovery: It was excavated by Howard Carter and is considered one of the finest examples of New Kingdom royal chariots, distinct from the heavily decorated chariots found in Tutankhamun's tomb.

Textile Industry During the Tulunid Period

(254-292 AH / 868-905 AD)

Immediately upon his arrival in Egypt, Ahmed ibn Tulun

began building a state independent of the Abbasid

Caliphate in Baghdad, where Al-Qata'i was the new

capital of his state north of Al-Fustat in the year 256

AH / 870 AD. Therefore, he undertook a comprehensive

economic reform, the effect of which was evident in

the abundance of wealth and the advancement of the

industry, and the sublimity of the arts. The linen and

woolen textile industry are one of the industries that

flourished in that period, as Ibn Tulun preserved the

textile-industry centers in Egypt and even maintained

the same type and level of production.

Egyptian textile industry developed and began to

compete with its counterparts in the headquarters of

the Caliphate in Baghdad, and even surpassed it

because of its quality and high craftsmanship. This

industry met the needs of the Tulunid state, and the

gifts of its rulers to the leaders of the army and the

heads of the state in terms of mattresses, curtains, and

precious fabrics, in addition to the successive gifts to

the Abbasid state men and the Caliphs themselves,

such as the great gifts sent by Khamarawih to the

Abbasid Caliph Al-Mu'tadid. And the fabrics he needed

for the trousseau of his daughter, Qatar Al-Nada.

Therefore, the production of the textile house was very

active, which led to the expansion of internal trade and

the doubling of the profits of the Tulunid state.
