Prior to the modern nail clipper, people used to utilize small knives to trim or pare their nails. Descriptions of nail trimming in literature date as far back as the 8th century BC. The first United States patent for an improvement in a finger-nail clipper was filed in 1875 by Valentine Fogerty and in the United Kingdom, Hungarian inventor David Gestetner (Wikipedia :-D)
However, you still have your teeth. For me it is a terrible habit but for others it is delicious!... I love diversity, it is fun and awesome!!!

I was surprised upon very close inspection to see these frost shards accumulated on top of the snowcover were shaped like hexagonal nails.
In 1967 Avoncroft Museum was opened to the public following the rescue and reconstruction of a Medieval Town House from Bromsgrove town centre. Avoncroft’s priority is to retain historic buildings in their original location. Over five decades, Avoncroft Museum has continued to rescue structures where this had not been achievable. The Museum now displays and cares for over 30 historic buildings and structures.
