The Jacobs Robot in Camp Washington is the COOLEST THING EVER.

During the Carnival, the streets of Venice Carnival were full of people in masks, and no differentiation could be made between nobility and the common people. Generally, the costume worn was a cloak with a long-nosed mask. Also popular were masked couples, where a man and a woman would dress as allegorical characters.

In the squares street-artists and singers entertain with songs and music from their guitars, the guests of the Venice Carnival.

Hiding personal identities was accepted by the "moral in kidding" of the aristocracy as well as by the interclassism Venice was founding its integrity of people on.

There is not much left today of the historical tradition of the Venice Carnival.

In the late 1970's a popular spirit of Venice Carnival bloomed wild, young masked gangs started to throw weethstraw and eggs to not masqued people and spontaneous bands were playing everywhere around Venice; soon the aggressivity dimmed and city authorities began what is now a celebration of the Carnival, mainly for tourists. Unlike many Venetian celebrations that remain almost unknown to the public, Venice Carnival seems to be thriving as much as it ever did.

There are many enterteinments and interesting performances, aside of the real parties in Venetian taste that are often hidden for the large public, which is morelike to enjoy the Venice Carnival on the road.

The Venice Carnival is the most internationally known festival celebrated in Venice, Italy, as well as being one of the oldest. This congregation of masked people, called Venice Carnival, began in the 15th century, but the tradition can be traced back to the beginning of the 14th Century.

During those years one of the first laws made by the Serenissima was that masks cannot be used around the city at night.

Later, Venice Carnival attracted foreigners - including princes - from all over Europe, who came to enjoy the wild festivities while spending fortunes.

During the Carnival period Venice offered numerous possibilities for spending money. The choices were various, with activities such as gambling dens, brothels, theatres, cafés, wine shops (licensed and illicit) and restaurants, as well as booths where one could see exotic animals, ropewalkers and jugglers.

The streets of Venice Carnival were full of people in masks, and no differentiation could be made between nobility and the common people. Generally, the costume worn was a cloak with a long-nosed mask. Also popular were masked couples, where a man and a woman would dress as allegorical characters.

Beginning on S. Stefano Day (26th December) costumes were permitted through the entire period of the Venice Carnival (excluding the Festa delle Marie) which ends at the beginning of Lent. While the Doges reigned, costumes were also allowed from Ascension Day to 10th June, as well as for public banquets and other celebrations. However, they were not allowed to be worn from 5th October to 16th December.

Hiding personal identities was accepted by the "moral in kidding" of the aristocracy as well as by the interclassism Venice was founding its integrity of people on.

Pay-for-the-party and souvenir shops are yet the easiest track for the tourists, but many curious meeting and experiences are as well available around, in Venice Carnival time.

Duck is not that favourite of mine ! There was something in that lady the other day ( Actually a year ago ) that I couldn't resist taking snap !

Hyde park always fascinates me ! It has that beautiful canal, those birds , morelikely there isn't any thing you can hate about Hyde park !

Oh I miss London .

So, I went to the Disney Store and got some more Brave merchandise! Woot! I got the last Angus with Sound and Merida Doll Set, but I'm sure they'll get more shipments in for those of you worried about that. I also picked up the triplets (Harris, Hubert, and Hamish) and the mini dolls. I only got this shot before the mosquitoes were all over me. Ha! I will prepare better next time. I love the triplets, but I wish they had some poseability (at least moveable arms and legs). Instead they're stuck in that pose which limits creativity for their pics. More pics later! :)

As I begin to look more like the character, I begin to feel morelike the character

I picked up this darling little album because I am so bad at keeping my Polaroids together.

Last week I found my favorite Pola ever in an old purse I hadn't used in a couple of years. Then I couldn't find the picture again anywhere a few days later. I know it's here somewhere, but it's just so frustrating.

This way there will be a place for the ones I like to live in straightaway; and I adore the little line drawing on the cover.

They had a map of the world were people can add their flags to show where they came from to have the surgery. Obviously most of the people who came were Europeans, due to distance. I know Dr. Bart has done over 1,500 FFS surgeries, but I don't think there were 1,500 pins/flags on the map.

flags, map, pins.

Claire got her Facial Feminization Surgery with Dr. Bart Van De Ven at the 2Pass Clinic in Antwerp, Belgium on September 4th, 2018.

He had a lot of before and after pictures for Claire to look at, and a 6-day stay in their clinic to include food and board was included in the price. It was a really nice facility, and Carolyn was glad that Claire had chosen 2Pass over PriyaMed in India, after seeing CT scans confirming friends had paid for procedures that were never even done (PriyaMed suuuuucks!). Dr. Bart and the entire 2Pass staff, including the resident who lived at the clinic and took care of all the patients, Petra, were very nice and friendly. We absolutely have complaints about the experience -- the implants that made my mouth look worse for months, only to threaten my life, creating two more additional surgeries for me to undergo and recover from. The nerve damage on my chin, which I think could have been avoided if Dr. Bart didn't insist that CT scans are unnecessary while any upscale FFS place does CT scans. The complication under my eye which literally exploded out of my face, but only 14 months later. Letting me leave without my chin strap. Sending me home when I wasn't really fit to fly yet. Having a big wooden table with an irregular shape that people trip over, which is very easy when your eyes are sewn shut. Not shaving as much off my forehead quite as I'd hoped (but still an amazing forehead job!). Not doing as much jaw work as I'd hoped (and that nerve damage). Not including a neck lift in my package when it absolutely should have been (it's so saggy now & it has been indicated as something I should do by another FFS surgeon). The surgery was good -- I've had people tell me in private that my FFS is the best FFS they've ever seen (wow) -- but it wasn't A+ for us. It was morelike a A- or B+ for results, B+ for price, C for choosing the right procedures to perform on me, and a C- for complications endured. We felt like there was a lot of room for improvement in our experience as well. Like they don't say what time of day to arrive, and only let you check into your room a few hours before your appointment. So we ended up being several hours late because of this -- they could simply let people in 6-8 hrs before their appointment, then we would have been able to aim earlier and not be late. But at the same time...no regrets. This surgery was the best thing to ever happen to me. I'm very happy with what 2Pass did for me. I just wish things had gone better.

Yep, I ran into this huge flock, (or swarm morelike) of starlings at the weekend.

So guess what the theme from Rush is gonna be this week.

Feel free to add a humorous tag. In fact, I insist.

Also, check this for his favourite song....youtu.be/sCAADk60CMo

what a bird. what an incredible animal. what a dream of life and death and beauty and intelligence. I'd give almost anything to live as an animal and really have that mind. they have to be smarter and stronger than human infants, yet what is the limitation of that mind?

it's kindof sad to me that I wrote that, like an animal - like that - could have limits - according to me I guess. but I think you'd all know what I mean... in horseracing you hear alot of interesting ideas about what a horse is thinking, sensing, from the (to me) absurd to the insight that is better than any fiction. where does the truth lie - and how so for each individual animal?

I <3 owls.

Vyl smiles oddly, torn between the sensations of ownership and protection for her sister and for the yellowcab... "Greetings love... you arent after my Taxi are ya?"

S starts to circle the Taxi, ignoring her sisters question for the moment as she suddenly felt like that is exactly what she was after, but strangely hadnt known it until now. "Your Taxi?? morelike My Taxi, and I'll thank you to remove your carcass from it"

This look, and more of the story is blogged on Eclectic Equations here...

I think this is in the Silver Slipper. It might be The Mint, or Caesars Palace. It was definitely in Great Yarmouth on a Sunday afternoon in February. There is no higher plane.

“Illuminated By Night” aka IBN JEANS allows safe kids to play it safe by using high visible illuminating and reflective materials. How many times have you told your child to play where I can see you? Wearing arm bands are O.K. but they can be easily lost by children. Safety belts work, but they are not that appealing. Your child will be more stylish and more likely to be seen with IBN JEANS.

*NOTE: IBN sounds like ribbon (just take away the “R”).
