I saw a Monitor test card very like this. Unfortunately Flickr and copyright rules do not allow me to post it here for sharing.
As I made this test card up myself I own the copyright and can do what I like with it. This, like my photos, is licensed under a Creative Commons license. I assume this goanna is a sand monitor (varanus gouldii) seen somewhere around the Maree area I think, but certainly while on a trip from Hawker to Lake Eyre.

After a couple more coats of red paint in the cold, dark, and wind last night, I pulled off the masking tape. And here is the very nice, sharp waterline.

Early electric refrigerator at the Castle Museum, York, from around the 1930s. Looks like a Monitor Top fridge or derivative, so called because the compressor housing on top of the first type made by General Electric resembled the gun turret of the ironclad warship USS Monitor.
On the right is an ice cabinet, basically a cupboard lined with metal, zinc or tiles!

When I was out looking for my desk I was in my favorite junk shop, where I spotted a stack of old library card-catalogue drawers, and thought one might work pretty well as a way to elevate the monitor. It was filthy, so I cleaned it and polished it, and also affixed some anti-skid material to the underside to protect from scratching and keep clutzy kitties from knocking the whole deal over when frisking.
What should I label the drawers?
This is at the pond at Amano School - I was standing by the pond when I heard a rustle in the grass next to me. A head popped up - it looked like a giant snake - the head was massive. It suddenly dived into the pond and swam across - it wasn't a snake but actually a pretty big monitor lizard.
