At Firecom I led the design of this small portable intercom to allow fire fighters to communicate with rescuers that go down into confined spaces. The key goal was to design an operator interface that was easy to use and matched the way they were trained to do their job.

Greg Hinzmann did a fantastic job on the front graphics and getting the usability really simple and intuitive.
