The printing plate of a typical Amsterdam canal warehouse from 300 years ago in lead and brass (I think) to get an original inked screen print of that. This was in the shop window of a small printing house with a press. I suspect that this printing plate is about 30 years old.
The use of "sick" to mean excellent or impressive emerged in the early 1980s within the United States, specifically rooted in skateboarding and surfing subcultures.
The earliest recorded example of this usage is found in a 1983 university slang compilation from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where it was used to describe a concert as "unbelievably good." Cultural Context: The term gained traction because these "extreme" sports involved physically challenging and death-defying manoeuvres. Skaters and surfers began using words that suggested intensity, danger, or insanity—such as "sick," "nuts," "insane," "ill," or "wicked"—as high praise for a particularly impressive trick.

Sorry, I don't do blue ink. Coprinus comatus, the shaggy ink cap, lawyer's wig, or shaggy mane, is a common fungus often seen growing on lawns, along gravel roads and waste areas. The young fruit bodies first appear as white cylinders emerging from the ground, then the bell-shaped caps open out. The caps are white, and covered with scales—this is the origin of the common names of the fungus. The gills beneath the cap are white, then pink, then turn black and secrete a black liquid filled with spores (hence the "ink cap" name).
