Constante, al igual que el fotógrafo. Disfrutar día a día de nuestra pasión nos permite ganar experiencia, conocimiento , y sobre todo paciencia. Con el paso del tiempo aprendemos a sacarle el máximo partido a los mejores días y a no rendirnos y desesperarnos en aquellos días en los que no damos ni una.
En mi opinión el don con el tiempo pasa a un segundo lugar, y comienzan a cobrar una mayor relevancia cuestiones como la constancia, la ilusión y esa felicidad que nos aporta aquella misión en la que nos encontramos inmersos. Pensemos que el simple hecho de bajar con nuestra cámara a dar un paseo, leer un libro de fotografía o incluso imaginarnos en algún lugar haciendo fotografías puede suponer que encontremos una nueva fuente de inspiración, que nos permita recorrer nuevos caminos, caminos que curiosamente siempre se encontraron dentro de nosotros y que sólo necesitaban una pizca de inspiración para brotar, y estas reflexiones me hacen preguntarme ¿te vas a quedar ahí quieto, o vas a salir a aprovechar esas miles de oportunidades que te están esperando ahí fuera?

Every time I'm close to the entrance of the Antelope Canyon it is the same thrill; all my thoughts are all about how to shot it this time, where to focus, what light condition I'll find, how much crowd, how many ISO, freehand on my legs or lean to something or bring the tripod. The camera is set to manual, the lens is my trustworthy Nikon 16-35. Now it is the time to go inside and another challenge against the time will begin.. One day I hope to be famous enough to have all the time of this world to shoot inside it, meanwhile here's another HDR result.

Sometimes use a fisdheye lens can help to achieve some stunning results from a lot of "canonical" shots.
When I bought my Sigma 15mm f/2.8 FE, I was planning something totally different, something I haven't still realized, but one day I will.
Anyway, since that day I never left my small toy at home, and when I see some peculiar features in a panorama or in a landscape that can "do the job", I don't hesitate to take some shots with it.
Then, here's another "fisheyed" image, a view of the Grand Canyon, close to Mather Point, with a voluntarily exagerated earth curvature, to emphatize more the greatness of the place I was watching before me.

What I liked the most of my recent trip to Sicily? The light, it was so complex, rich and so peculiar that the real challenge was to capture it all.
This is a very large and composite image made of 10 photos, from the Mount Erice, 700mt over the sea level. From here it is possible to see the whole coast till San Vito Lo Capo and the Mount Cofano. If zoomed it is possible to distinguish each single house, home, road, with insane detail. Print it on a large surface and you will get a eagle eye view of the whole plain.

Un día en el río, disfrutando y comiendo en la naturaleza con la familia, ¿Qué más se puede pedir? Ahhh sí!! Un poquito de fotografía como no xD. Esta toma expresa con una total fidelidad lo que yo estaba sintiendo en ese momento, algo a lo que le doy una vital importancia en el proceso de crear una fotografía, sentía el equilibrio, me sentía agusto conmigo mismo, confiado, rodeado de la gente a la que más quiero en esta vida, todo estaba donde debía estar a la hora que debía estar, en perfecta sintonía, uno de esos pocos momentos de la vida llenos de sentido, que maravilla :D

The Catholic Church of Notre-Dame de Royan can be seen sitting on the rock* just below where the net should be. Could it be that the fisherman had been “Fishing for Souls” (new tab) - instead of soles?

An easy mistake if an order had been given by word of mouth.
It's widely believed that Christ built His Church on a rock and it just so happens that the "rock" (Peter, by name) was a fisherman! Funny how things turn out! Perhaps the Vatican would be interested in a print; as a donation, of course! ;-))
Best viewed in lightbox, then plus and on full screen (F11), of course!
* Unable to even see the church on the display on my little camera, the fact that it turned out to be sitting so snugly on the rock right under a fisherman's net was either pure coincidence or, dare I say it, Divine Intervention.

Just one of the alien like landscapes we saw on the Salar dau Uyuni tour. It smelled of rotten eggs, the temperature of the water was around 90 degrees, the wind made it hard for us to stand there and the altitude of nearly 5500 meters made it tough for everyone to breathe!
