I bambini possono insegnare sempre tre cose ad un adulto: 1. A essere contento senza motivo. 2. A essere sempre occupato con qualche cosa. 3. A pretendere con ogni sua forza quello che desidera.(Paulo Coelho)
Children can always teach an adult three things: 1. To be happy for no reason. 2. To always be busy with something. 3. To claim with all his strength what he wants (Paulo Coelho)

Our favorite game is "Catch a Ball"
Of course, after a couple of throws, the ball magically disappears in the snow and then Spock brings everything he founds under the snow. Then it was a branch.
Have a nIce day and thank you for visiting!

Taken for the "Macro Mondays" theme "Lockdown Song".
The song is "Games People Play" by The Spinners. We played a lot of games and puzzles during the lockdown.
It had begun to rain, it was getting dark and yet I was still there, at the edge of the lake, fascinated by that dance of drying and smoothing all that feathers like a game of seduction. But to seduce whom? The lake was deserted. There was no other duck around. Then, I understood. Under the rain, in the middle of nowhere, shivering with cold, I understood. I was the one seduced.
Taken to the Piani of Bosentino in the morning when the sun was still low enough. To make this photo I was literally lying on the ground, even though I cut the ground in the foreground to create a "false" panorama. To create the sun's rays I just had to close the diaphragm without adding gleams with Photoshop.

Macro Mondays 2017/48: "Games or Game Pieces"
Ich denke meine deutschen Freunde verstehen genau worum es in diesem Bild geht ;-)
In order to grasp the deeper meaning of this photograph you need to know what is currently going on in Germany's political landscape ;-)
Playing games is the best time of your life, and the more games you get, the better it is.

The first Thursday of the month is Game Day in our community. Some serious players around this table.
So the drones have arrived in Sydney.
They control the show, but can they control our minds?
This is a new version of one of the many images I have of the Drone Shows on Sydney Harbour, Sydney Cove and Darling Harbour during the Vivid Light Festivals of 2023 and 2024.
Photographed from beside the south-eastern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Along the Cahill Walkway. Next to the Cahill Expressway. No tripod - the camera was resting on the side of the harbour bridge, lol.
So here's John Lennon with his song 'Mind Games'. But I don't think he could have anticipated drones. OR maybe he did.

“...It’s hard to watch
the game we make of love,
like everyone’s playing checkers
with their scars,
saying checkmate
whenever they get out
without a broken heart.
Just to be clear
I don’t want to get out
without a broken heart.
I intend to leave this life
so shattered
there’s gonna have to be
a thousand separate heavens
for all of my flying parts.”

hier habe ich mit einer Pipette versucht einen Tropfen auf dem Bockshornsamen zu platzieren, er hat sich enorm dagegen geweigert, aber es hat unheimlich Spaß gemacht
"I foresee it's true, that you would love me better
If I couldn't screw
All your moves that make me wanna run away
But I got stuck with faulty legs
I believe it's true that you would screw me
If I let you in my bedroom
And if I did then do I try to move away?
'Cause I know you like mind games
Do I ever have to notice?
I've been standing here and I don't know why
Did you ever even see me try?
Do you-oh-oh, see me now?
Do you-oh-oh, see me now?
Do you-oh-oh, see me now?
See me now, see me now, oh, see me now?" - Banks ♫

“Oh, the places you'll go! There is fun to be done!
There are points to be scored. There are games to be won.
And the magical things you can do with that ball
will make you the winning-est winner of all.
Fame! You'll be as famous as famous can be,
with the whole wide world watching you win on TV.
Except when they don't
Because, sometimes they won't.
I'm afraid that some times
you'll play lonely games too.
Games you can't win
'cause you'll play against you.”
― Dr. Seuss
