Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday is funny words. I could not resist to illustrate this awesome quote about eggs. Not only I find it funny but also it is 100% true in my case. I love eggs and I love espresso. Also I will have 2 eggs and a double espresso this morning for sure ! This is one of my favorite Buildings in Buffalo, NY. There is a lot of History to this Richardson Building. I heard there was freaky storys in this Building. It is a Gothic Building in my eyes.

The Henry Hobson Richardson Complex, or the Buffalo State Asylum for the Insane, as it was originally called, started construction in 1870 and was completed almost 20 years later. It was a state-of-the-art facility when it was built, incorporating the most modern ideas in psychiatric treatment. The design of the buildings as well as the restorative grounds, designed by famed landscape designer Frederick Law Olmsted, were intended to complement the innovations in psychiatric care practiced at this facility.

Lest anyone think I made these, I found them on a rock along the path to Wells Beach :-)
Minus its fiberglass body this is the bones of a funny car seen at the NHRA Virginia Nationals held at the Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA. Running on Nitromethane fuel (at one time this was used for rocket fuel) and sporting over 11,000 horsepower a good run down the 1/4-mile track would be in excess of 330 MPH and less than 4 seconds. As a spectator the extreme noise, heat, smell and shock waves that these cars leave behind when they make their run is indescribable. As the saying goes, you would have to be there to believe it.
John Force, a legend in drag racing was driving one of these funny cars (not the car above) on Sunday at this track when he had a horrific accident shown in the video link below.
