This shot was taken at a restaurant under demolition.. funny thing, there was still some party spotlights working

From this time, unchained

We're all looking at a different picture

Thru this new frame of mind

Roggen- Take Three

Roggen has become a sort of staple in my urbex diet. I first explored it three years ago when I was just getting started in urban exploration. And I have visited it each year since. It never disappoints.

A little info about Roggen:

The town was first called Blair, but was soon changed to Roggen to alleviate any confusion with mail delivery with Blair, Nebraska. It was named after either the Nebraska Secretary of State, Edward Roggen, or a surveyor for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy. From 1917-1975, Roggen was the location of a sugar beet dump.

High school and university students competed in the 2018 Human Exploration Rover Challenge event at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Students came from across the U.S. as well as several foreign countries such as Brazil, Germany, India, and Mexico.
