As part of extended birthday celebrations for one of my cousins, we hired dragon boats for the morning, from Osprey Adventures on the Kennebecasis River.
This was only a matter of hours before Hurricane Irene hit the area. The air was so still ... breathless. The sky was ominous. But it was a lovely morning out!
grown-ups can choose to break the law by swimming in Bash Bish, but little kids like Theresa and Ben should not.

Sunday evening we drove about refamiliarising ourselves with the Peninsula. We drove through Flinders Golf Course along the coastline and saw the hang-gliders taking off it was fascinating for the kids and for us also.
c9b just explaining to Strawberries & cream that she can't tell me her name until she is spray matted... otherwise she will never get matted. to this, S&C wondered why she would ever want to be matted... "duh", c9b replied, "otherwise she'll never play with you because she sucks at taking photos"...yes- i love my dull-face blythes... i wish they all came matted. =)
