My place, probably like everybody's, is full of paper. I didn't know where to start and took hours to come up with anything at all (since all the cool and beautiful things were done already by other people).

In the end I settled on this: Two lavender coloured envelopes on top of purple paper which I found looks like fabric close up. I had made a card some time ago and I found it again like this, with two envelope flaps covering the front.

I started with a few items and kept removing things until only the envelope was left. And then it was good.

Wat is "Just Because Day"?

Dit is je geluksdag. Terwijl de samenleving in het algemeen dicteert dat het nemen van impulsieve, overhaaste beslissingen onverantwoord is, gooi al die kennis vandaag uit het raam. Waarom? Nou, gewoon omdat (just because...). Vandaag is een dag om altijd en overal te doen wat je wilt. Op 27 augustus heb je geen reden nodig om het te vieren. Het enige dat u nodig hebt is National Just While Day. Maak je geen zorgen over het beantwoorden van de vraag 'waarom' op 27 augustus - je hebt geen reden nodig. Als je spaghetti wilt maken voor het ontbijt in het Halloween-kostuum van vorig jaar, krijg je meer kracht. Als je als volwassene in een boom wilt klimmen, neem dan het risico. Het is een dag om te stoppen met je zorgen te maken over het waarom. Je hebt nooit een reden nodig om jezelf te zijn, maar dit gaat vandaag dubbel. En bovenal, gewoon omdat "gewoon ondat dag" een geweldige manier is geworden om willekeurige daden van vriendelijkheid te verspreiden. Stuur een doordachte kaart naar een vriend, alleen omdat. Bel je grootouders, alleen omdat. Pak het afval van de tuin van je buurman, gewoon omdat.just because :-).
