Among the intelligence discovered from messages and stored on cards was information about the construction and launch of Germany’s secret weapons - the V1 flying bomb and V2 rocket - used against Britain towards the end of the war.
Modified Typex Machine
The Typex was a British encryption machine used by its armed forces. It was more secure and versatile than Enigma. Staff at BP used a different version, adapted to work exactly like Enigma, in the final stage of deciphering enemy messages.
