When you are at school, and the teacher says draw a mountain, the triangle is where most of us would begin. Most mountains don't really look like that, but Beinn Dorain seen here certainly matches that desciption.
This Great Blue Heron was re-arranging its feathers, and hit this position - reminded me of a western movie with the cowboys facing each other down, ready to draw!

When love's embrace mends a broken heart
Here I will stay for all my days

Would usually get upset when someone stands in front of the camera, not this time. Sunset stranger and Sandhill Cranes at Whitewater Draw in McNeal (Chochise County) Arizona.

Cotehele Mill, which draws its water from the Morden Stream in the Tamar Valley (and was formerly known as Morden Mill), is part of the Cotehele Estate, which is owned by the National Trust. The Grade II-listed working mill, which produces wholemeal flour, dates back to the 18th century, though it was remodelled in the 19th century. There is believed to have been a watermill here since medieval times. In the 1860s the tenants, a family named Langsford, extended the mill by adding a sawmill on one side and a bakery on the other. A second water wheel was added to power the sawmill. The buildings surrounding the mill were used as stables, cowsheds, a hayloft and a ‘cherry house’ for storing cherries. The last of these buildings was added in the 1890s and they are now set up as a selection of estate and craft workshops.
When these clouds moved in to position, I did as well. They add a certain extra to the image that helps complete it. This rail line has been shot by all of my cameras over the years, and this one is a little more complete than the rest with the addition of the clouds. They fill that distant draw in the hills that is in need of a finishing element.
Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr quietly crosses the large earthen fill leading down to Tunnel 16 at South Draw as the silvery passenger train catches some sunlight playing tag with clouds while dropping downgrade through the Tunnel District east of Crescent, Colorado, on the afternoon of April 24, 2019. No. 6 has nearly 30 track-miles to go before it reaches Denver Union Station out on the plains far below.
