Giant pumps for the adjacent derelict dry dock. Eventually this room filled with water so i was lucky to get the shot when I did.

"Dock Dogs" at the Puyallup Spring Fair. Dogs competing for distance and height of their jumps. Generally retrievers, but some border collies did very well also.

This is where the visitors were split up between four boats. Petra said she that our boat driver was probably drunk or a little hung over, because he wasn't interested in saying much and skipped over most of the details that Petra was given the last time she came through the caves.

The dock on the dry rive bed.

many of the dock fingers got caught on the pilings, so that as they leaned over farther (and as the tide goes out), the docks were getting raised and twisted & in danger of breaking -- so the guys are trying to crowbar the docks off of the pilings, to relieve some of the pressure building up & get the docks smoothed back down again...

Loading docks in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn. I liked the way the light was illuminating the colors in an otherwise ugly scene.
