I’m still rooting around in my archives trying to cull the 90 percent bad and keep the 10 percent that are okay.
Found this Pelican on a local pier, and thought it was doing a pretty good rendition of the Chicken Dance.
The Chicken Dance is a well-known drinking and dancing song at American Oktoberfest events. It is also a popular dance at weddings, particularly in whose culture includes polka music. Over 140 versions have been recorded worldwide, including some that were released by Walt Disney Records, together making an estimated 40,000,000 records or more pressed.

It has been way to long since my last post here, I'll try to update my page more frequently in 2017. This picture was taken a few weeks ago, I had spent the day out photographing and on my way home I suddenly noticed the auroras dancing.
Being in a hurry to get to a somewhat decent spot and start photographing, I forgot my gloves in the car. Did not notice the temperature being minus 25 degrees C until I got back to the car again... #tobusytontice #frozenfingers

This morning in te car to speuld it was foggy, when I was there there was no fog at all. I could take a few photo"s.
'Het Speulderbos' is called ' the forest of the dancing trees'. The forest is not just mysterious, it is also very rare. It's a paradise for birds (of prey), deer, badgers and wild boars. So there is enough choice to have a good time!

Leaping into the air, this dancer was one of the many kids at my wife's dance rehearsal. The recital is tomorrow afternoon. But, I went to the rehearsal to get some motion/movement photos, too.
I plan to give all of my photos to the dancers for free so their families will have a nice way to remember their little star's performance.

Quì i molti vigneti erano ancora da vendemmiare, molta uva nera/uva per il vino Lambrusco. Non tanto danneggiata dal maltempo ... uva più resistente !
Ma ecco che le foglie quà e là avevano già il colore autunnale, e pure queste intorno ai grappoli mi attraevano ... così mi è venuta l'ispirazione per il titolo di "dancing grapes".
L'estate che se ne và e l'autunno che arriva, ma per un pò sono insieme !

Here the many vineyards were still to be harvested, a lot of black grapes / grapes for Lambrusco wine. Not so badly damaged by bad weather ... more resistant grapes!
But here the leaves here and there were already the autumn color, and even these around the bunches attracted me ... so I got the inspiration for the title of "dancing grapes".
The summer that goes away and the autumn that comes, but for a while they are together!
With the evening light coloring the clouds a hue of yellow, it seemed a nice backdrop for this tree. The angle chosen showed the branches extending and gave the illusion of a dancer in the evening light.
