He had just finished a set and was announcing to the gathered crowd that he would return in 20 minutes when he saw a friend coming through the arch wheeling an upright piano. He yelled over to him, "would you rather use this one?" he said pointing to the grand piano from atop his piano stool. "Probably" the other piano player replied. The upright guy had a film crew in tow so decided to setup across the park instead. A grand gesture none the less! :) I have a pic of the upright guy I will share soon. Just sharing an interesting exchange I witnessed, one of the many things that keeps me coming back to shoot street.
