My favourite cafes around my work (in the city) are closing.
This is only the close one now.
("Cafe Once Upon a Time" near my house is all right.)
Normally they give me coffee in a paper cup (I only order small ones) but on this day, they gave me in a mag.
Not really antique type old place but this cafe is located in the old building, same as Capitol Theatre's complex.
At the moment Theatre is playing Mamma Mia.
* I'm busy and I can't always reply or talk. On my other account, nearly none (if you know what I mean). I am very sorry, I just can't handle. I'll try to reply here if you have something to say.

I Was Just Thinking, Most Of Those People Participating In "No Nut November" Weren't Going To Get Laid Anyway.
I find it amazing that coffee is consumed in nearly all the world. One of these brass coffee pots is Indian and the other is from Zanzibar. It is actually a miniature replica of the amazing containers that the coffee vendors carried around the city. The section at the bottom with the holes is where the coals were to keep the coffee warm. The little pail was for washing the cups. They would clink the cups together in a musical way to let people know that they were coming by. The coffee was as thick as syrup and no doubt wonderful...unfortunately back then I was deemed to young to partake. I have more than made up for it since.

Hurray, it's that time of year again...time to play with my mirror-finish espresso cups!
:-) morning coffee smells excellently, but the smell of freshly ground coffee in the evening works for me as an aphrodisiac! :-))
Another edible prop. Had to have one of these buns today as it's the correct day for them = the last Tuesday before Lent.
When I was little the lid was always triangular and there was not as much cream and almond paste in them as there is now.
