Falcon puzzles are typically undated but despite the low catalogue number, the fact that this example has had the deluxe treatment, not to mention the box containing a warranty slip with the stamped date 17 Jun 1991, suggests that this is a reissue.
An enjoyable build too, with well-formed and fitting pieces on thick green board, I would say the build quality is similar to the likes of Ravensburger etc. It was easy to construct winding trails of pieces attached by a single edge with confidence that they were in the correct position.
Being a winter scene there are a large number of predominantly white, blues, or grey pieces present. The initial sort ended up being regular shapes (man-made stuff), river, foreground tree, mainly white coloured pieces, and mainly blue/grey-coloured pieces.
Began with the tree in the foreground - the near-black and smudged white pieces being fairly easy to identify. Built as much as I could before switching first to the river and then the man-made objects.
After joining those sections together it made sense to work on the "mainly white" pieces next, after several passes through the pile this filled in the river bank, and most of the mountains behind the church and largely completed the right side of the puzzle.
Finished off with the "mainly blue-grey" coloured pieces completing first the remaining edges, then the branches against the sky, the lower left corner and finally the trees against the left edge of the picture.
