Not yet ready for sunbathing and swimming but for an extended walk : Hvidbjerg Strand in March, Jylland, Denmark.

The sand patterns made me think of zebras and tigers and I had to call the photo something :)

Some photos come easier than others but this location made me work quite hard. Couldn't get anything to line up with the nice sunset happening stage right, so kind of resorted to this. It won't win any awards but I did quite like the converging patterns in land, sea and sky.

I am not really a fan of beaches of any kind (well, sometimes :-)) but this one is very special. I'd never seen a more beautiful beach before, really not! This is the so called Turtle Beach in the beautiful Sultanate of Oman. The beach is not easy to access, you have to drive a quite long distance and then walk, but it was worth it. We didn't see any turtles, though. They come in the night and you must book a special tour because this beach is then closed for the visitors

Llandanwg Beach sits between the towns of Barmouth and Harlech on the southern side of Tremadog Bay. It is also part of the wider Snowdonia National Park and situated close to the pretty Afon Dwyryd estuary.

der Himmel zieht den Vorhang beiseite,

zeigt sein ästhetisches und königliches Blau,

um Minuten später bereits wieder grimmige

graue, ja fast schwarze Wolken auf die Bühne zu schicken.

Rauer Seewind spielt mit dem Wasser -

sanft plätschernd im Wechsel zu wilden Wellen.

Meine Füße fühlen den feuchten, körnigen Sand

Spuren, die ich hinterlasse - sie sind nur flüchtig
