One of my hobbies is collecting retro-computers, focusing on computers made by Atari. I have currently have eleven different Atari-models, three from Commodore and one other model in my collection.
This is my Atari STE. I traded it for a live recording of Pink Floyds show on Ullevi in Gothenburg in 1994, probably in 1996 or 1997. At this time I had pretty much stopped using my Ataris.
Atari had a stye on his eyelid for 2 months now. The doctor decided on draining it, but he wanted to sedate Atari. It's Atari's first operation.
Atari ST tillverkades mellan 1985 och 1993, och var en hemdator som främst konkurrerade med Amiga 500 från Commodore. Den fanns i ett par olika modeller där den största skillnaden var mängden minne som datorn levererades med. Exempelvis fanns 520ST och STe samt 1040ST och STe bestyckade med 512 respektive 1024kb minne vardera. I vissa modeller kunde man köpa till extra minne och montera själv. STe-modellerna utmärkte sig främst genom att dom var utrustade med "Blitter"-chip, större färgpalett och ljudchip med stöd för "DMA".

One day I’ll get round to re-commissioning my Atari 800. It was made in 1982. It was bought by my parents with some inheritance money in 1983. It was an expensive machine in it’s time, costing over £500. All my mates had ZX Spectrums, they were much cheaper and they would copy games on their twin cassette stereos. It would be a considerable amount of time before the PC became the standard computer for home and office.
If it will work remains to be seen, but I hope the floppy disks and cassettes are OK. It would be great to see programs that I’ve created some 40 years ago.
Before the PS3, X-box 360 and Nintendo Wii there was a console made by Atari. There was no wireless, motion detecting and vibrating controllers. The console and the joystick you see at the exhibit at SFO is all you had too play.

Ok, by party I mean my half sister and her three kids came over. We're playing the Atari my dad bought me from the thrift store right before he went out to sea for six months that past April.
Primera versión de los Junior y el más escaso. Atari 2600 Junior Short Rainbow.
A nivel de Hardware es prácticamente igual al "Long Rainbow", pero fue la primera revisión de la consola. Me costo encontrarlo pero gracias a un trueque con mi amigo "Apescape" es posible tenerlo en mi colección.
La consola funciona de maravilla.
Cada vez más cerca de tener todos los modelos de 2600.
