View allAll Photos Tagged arrow,
this is another shot that i took of my old drummer ray. by now you've probably noticed that a few of these are from the same day cause he's wearing the same clothes as other photos of him i've posted. this is probably one of my favorite photos from my ae-1, and about as raw as my photography gets. i really like how different the lightleak is from any i've ever seen and how simple and symbolic this shot seems.
Looking Close of Friday - theme Dart/Arrow. I had to use an old photo actually part of an old photo. Never been posted.
Arrow-marked Babbler is found in North-eastern South Africa, eastern Botswana, north-eastern Namibia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe and north to Kenya and Cabinda (north-western Angola). They are living in noisy groups of 4-10 birds and forages on the ground and in undergrowth for invertebrates, lizards, seeds, fruit and nectar.
Size: Length 23-25 cm, mass 56-86 g.

Macro Monday
Theme: Love
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
The subject is a heart pendant
( 1cm x 1cm ) partially submerged in water in a Petri dish with stream of water falling from a tap.
The idea was to portray an arrow of water piercing the heart rather than Cupid's arrow. After many attempts, this is my best shot even though it is not exactly what I envisage.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves...it is always appreciated.

Another idea of altering my origami-tessellation 'Flower-Star' is to move the pattern and create a new centre, which gives new possibilities, using the same pattern. Hope it makes sense what I write….;-)
This is just a little tessellation to see if my idea would work. I call this molecule "Arrow".
This is how the other side, called "Interweave" looks like.
Folded from a hexagon 15x15cm, 'Anett-Paper', grid 1:32

The arrow-marked babbler (turdoides jardineii) is a species of bird in the family Leiothrichidae. It is native to woodlands in the southern Afrotropics. The arrow-marked babbler lives in social groups of between 3 and 15 birds (six being the average) that defend large territories, with the size of the territory being dependent upon the number of individuals in the group. They feed on insects, spiders and sometimes snails and lizards, as well as fruits. Foraging occurs near the ground, sometimes in association with other babblers or bulbuls.

The Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force display team, putting on an outstanding 'flat' display at the Scottish International Airshow 2018 in Ayr, Scotland.
Despite the cloud base forcing a 'flat' display, the routine was just as breathtaking. The world class precision was evident in every single shot that I captured and it was a perfect way to close out the airshow for the day.
Captured handheld with my 200mm lens and 2x extender. The extender does reduce image quality a little, as well as obviously reducing light reaching the sensor, but in the absence of being able to afford a truly long telephoto lens - it works well enough for some great shots of an airshow display. Enjoy!
