La Linotte mélodieuse (Linaria cannabina) est une petite espèce de passereaux bruns, à la poitrine rosée de la famille des fringillidés. Son gazouillis est agréable et doux, son vol vif et léger.
La linotte installe un nid fait à la va-vite, pas très loin du sol, sans trop sembler se préoccuper de le dissimuler aux yeux des prédateurs. Cela lui vaut cette utilisation péjorative de son nom dans le langage des humains : « tête de linotte »; son nom lui vient de sa consommation de linettes (graines de lin) dont elle est friande.

Linacut Linaria (Linaria cannabina) is a small species of brown passerine with rosy breast of the family Fringillidae. His chirping is pleasant and sweet, his flight is bright and light.
The linnet installs a nest made quickly, not very far from the ground, without seeming to be concerned about hiding it from the eyes of predators. This earned him this pejorative use of his name in the language of humans: "head of linnet"; her name comes from her consumption of linettes (flax seeds) which she is fond of.
Many Lofoten visitors will agree that Nusfjord is one of the most beautiful places of the Lofoten. Like many other places, it has been a locally important fishing port for centuries. No wonder, because the picturesque Nusfjord has a well protected natural harbour. Fishermen used to find space in the 50 or so traditional Rorbuer during the seasonal cod ride, today every year thousands of tourists enjoy the beautiful landscape, the picturesque place with its buildings from the late 19th and early 20th century, the changeable weather and the sea.

Sergey Tabachnikov (born April 17, 1987, Samara, USSR) - guitarist, musician, leader of the Nobody.one group. Without any musical education, he became one of the most popular guitarists in the country.
Tabachnikov plays compositions that are completely different in style. But critics and viewers alike agree that his work is nevertheless closer to instrumental and blues rock. He began playing the guitar at the age of 11. Sergei is self-taught, he does not advise others to use the services of teachers, believing that if you wish, you can learn to play on your own.
Sergey Tabachnikov, in addition to his musical career, maintains his blog on YouTube, in which he uploads reviews of guitars and accessories to them. The videos are very popular among both novice musicians and professionals due to their interesting presentation style and specific humor.
Sergey takes the performances of his group more than seriously. The funny guy from the video about guitars disappears somewhere and a professional musician appears on the stage who completely surrenders to playing the guitar.
The Nobody.one group is actively touring Russia and the CIS countries, participating in many festivals, including the invasion. However, speaking of popularity, unfortunately, the group is known only to a narrow circle of viewers, but we hope this situation will change soon, and the general public will learn about the talented guys and their leader!
They say travelling is better than reading a book and I fully agree with this notion. This picture was taken on our train journey from Jungfrau(the Highest Point in entire Europe) in Switzerland. Was lucky to find a spot on the train where I could lower the windows and click as much as I could. Simply breathtaking views!

I agree I got carried away with the associations I had during experimenting with different screws, light sources and backgrounds (most of the images won't be seen here).
It was fun using the new light tape (it can be switched to different colours) that my husband brought home for (especially) macro work.
The four screws here were placed on a shiny plastic bag for reflections plus one on top. There are black cards in the background to darken the scene.

No matter your political POV, all can agree these are rocky times. Not something one would be apt to smile about. However, like rocky times before us, we have a strong foundation that will help to see us through.

Construit de 1979 à 1982, le barrage permet de réguler la nappe phréatique et assurer l'approvisionnement en eau potable de l'agglomération mulhousienne et ses environs.
C'est un lieu protégé, classé réserve naturelle volontaire agréée.
Le service des eaux de Mulhouse et le syndicat mixte du barrage de Michelbach assurent la gestion et le fonctionnement des infrastructures.
Un circuit pédestre de 4km (environ 1h30 de marche) permet, grâce à des panneaux pédagogiques, de découvrir et d'observer de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux qui y nichent ou qui sont de passage (cormoran, balbuzard, corneille,..).
A l'horizon se détachent les sommets vosgiens tels le Rossberg, le Thannerhubel, le Markstein ou le Grand Ballon.
Des visites guidées sont organisées en saison estivale par l'Office de Tourisme de Thann-Cernay.

WHILE PHOTOGRAPHING, another bird, caught some movement in the corner of my eye, and fired a couple of shots off, to see what it was, it turned out to be a Sedge Warbler, and the image was a bit flukey , but worth keeping, hope you agree! Taken at Oare Marshes Kent U.K.

This origami owl is also from the same designer (Yoshio Tsuda), as the previous owls that I showed you and here a tessellation technic is used for making the feathers.
The other difference is that this model isn't closed at the back. That has the advantage that light can pass through, which I did with the help of the sun. And that makes the feather pattern more beautiful, at least I think so.
Forgive me the scratches on the table, I did my best to polish them away.....;-))

Colors add certain things to our life and we instinctly listen, I think. What color to wear today, what color will we have in our livingroom and not to mention our bedroom.
We know deep down that colors do us good, but we might not know that we actually use them, with our consiousness.
Maybe we should try to get some knowledge, actively use the colors.
Then you might see that white is "The Color"
It gives you
peace
tranquility
exquisite light
hope
cool you down
dreams
Inspiration
Your brain will calm down, find its place, where solutions will come forward and you will get closer to yourself.

There was an absence of cloud in the sky, but the moss covered rocks and pastel light transitions in the sky more than made up for that - hope you agree!!!
