Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

"The glory of life surmounts the fear of death. Good Christian's fear Hellfire, so to avoid it they are kind to their fellow man. Good pagans do not have this fear, so they can be who they are. Good or ill, as their nature dictates. We have no fear of God, so we are accountable to no one but each other."

― John Clare, by Penny Dreadful.

“How can I live without thee, how forego

Thy sweet converse, and love so dearly joined,

To live again in these wild woods forlorn?

Should God create another Eve, and I

Another rib afford, yet loss of thee

Would never from my heart; no, no, I feel

The link of nature draw me: flesh of flesh,

Bone of my bone thou art, and from thy state

Mine never shall be parted, bliss or woe.

However, I with thee have fixed my lot,

Certain to undergo like doom; if death

Consort with thee, death is to me as life;

So forcible within my heart I feel

The bond of nature draw me to my own,

My own in thee, for what thou art is mine;

Our state cannot be severed, we are one,

One flesh; to lose thee were to lose myself.”

― Paradise Lost, by John Milton.

In the name of accountability, I feel I ought to reveal what I ate yesterday. Ready?

2 slices of cold pizza (chicken, mushrooms, olives and garlic butter) at the top of Tom Heights (recce)

Part of a Gregg's Cheese and Onion Bake (binned, vile)

1 packet of Doritos Cool Original

1 Peanut Chunky Kitkat

That saw me through to about 12 when I'd finished photographing Mary's Shell. Hmm, I can't really turn up to my sister's hungry...

1 quarterpounder with cheese

3 mozzarella bites

Sister's house:

Toffee Crisp

Then managed to make it all the way through to 5pm:

3 slices of garlic bread (goats cheese and caramelised onion 😍)

Chicken with a Diane sauce (the 80s called and want their sauce back)

Chocolate icecream rolled in meringue and hazelnuts.

-- The end --

This is what eating carbs does to me, I turn into a voracious bottomless pit 😂

I blame the Met Office.

I just loved that the taxi was sat there in almost perfect symmetry with the brutalist architecture of the former Royal Bank of Scotland cash reserve on West George Street, a veritable fortress that is now disused.

On the subject of money and transport - we are on the verge of an oil and energy crisis not seen since the 1970s. Let's be clear about it, if our lives start to fall apart from cost of living rises, energy shortages, water shortages (in the Middle East) and global supply chain issues, that this crisis was caused by just two old men hell bent on war and destruction. Make them accountable.

Take care in this insane world my Flickr friends.

This Nkisi Nkonde, captured at Faro Municipal Museum, is a type of power figure from the Congo Basin in Central Africa, specifically associated with the Kongo people. It is a form of Nkisi, a term referring to sacred objects in Kongo spirituality that are believed to house spirits or spiritual forces. The Nkonde (meaning "hunter") is a particular type of Nkisi known for its aggressive, protective, and judicial roles.

Key Features of Nkisi Nkonde:

Appearance:

Typically, these figures are humanoid in shape and made of wood.

They are often adorned with metal objects like nails, blades, or other sharp implements driven into their surface.

The inclusion of these materials is symbolic of the figure's activation or its use in fulfilling spiritual or legal purposes.

Function:

Hunter of Justice: Nkisi Nkonde was used to enforce laws, settle disputes, and exact punishment for wrongdoers. It was believed to "hunt down" those who broke oaths or contracts.

Protector: It served as a guardian against evil forces, illness, or malevolent spirits.

Healer: In some cases, Nkisi Nkonde was associated with healing, balancing spiritual forces within the community.

Activation and Ritual Use:

A spiritual specialist known as an nganga would "charge" the Nkisi Nkonde by embedding medicines (bilongo) into cavities in the figure.

The bilongo materials could include herbs, animal parts, minerals, or other substances with symbolic or spiritual significance.

The act of hammering nails or driving blades into the figure was a way to "wake" or "activate" it, often accompanying rituals and invocations.

Cultural Context:

Nkisi Nkonde reflects the Kongo people's intricate belief systems, which intertwine law, spirituality, and community order.

It was both a physical and metaphysical tool, acting as a tangible focal point for spiritual forces and social accountability.

Colonial Misunderstandings:

When European colonists and missionaries encountered Nkisi Nkonde, they often misinterpreted them as "fetishes" or objects of idolatry, failing to grasp their deeper cultural and spiritual significance.

Many Nkisi Nkonde figures were taken to museums, where they remain as artifacts of African spiritual heritage.

In Modern Times:

Nkisi Nkonde is studied as an important symbol of Kongo art and spirituality.

It is often featured in museum collections and exhibits focused on African art and the spiritual practices of Central Africa.

I've never been this accountable-less and within

I've never known focuslessness on any form

I've never had this lack of ache for dalliance

To let go ....

Ah to breathe

Stop looking outside

stop searching in corners of rooms

Not my business or timing

I declare a moratorium on things relationship

I declare a respite from the toils of liaison

I do need a breather from the flavors of entanglement

I declare a full time out from all things commitment .

The egregious, obscene -- and all too commonplace -- death of an unarmed black man by a white police officer in the United States was recorded by a woman's cellphone in Minneapolis and viewed by millions.

As a result, the heinous death of George Floyd has struck a collective nerve in America and around the world so severely, not even a pandemic without a vaccine has deterred people from publicly expressing their demand for accountability against police brutality and institutional racism. At the time of this posting, protests in America have continued for 12 consecutive days since the lynching.

This image shows the confrontation between protesters and the police in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.

If interested, you can view my latest photo essay featuring images of the protests in Seattle against police brutality and institutional racism this week in my blog article: "The Pandemic, The Pandemonium & The Protests."

Please be well, be safe, and be mindful.

The only thing that is constant in life is change. We are always changing. Perspectives change, paths change, boundaries change, goals change. Healing takes time but its always about taking the first step.It is not always about the path of peace and relief, as sometimes that path is disguised as avoidance. But to know that at times when we face adversity in a healthier way, when we take accountability, when we face the uncomfortable, we find the path of peace. Peace is not avoidance, but knowledge of facing life in all aspects.

Doing a project update on my blog today.

All you Nazis, Fascists, MAGAs, Republicans, and all other categories of Americans who abuse the law, cause people of the world harm, who steal our data, who take away jobs and healthcare from millions, who kidnap and deport innocent people to foreign prisons, who take away women's rights, who think compassion is a weakness--YOUR day of judgement is coming. You will pay for your crimes against humanity, for lives lost.

People took to the streets across America to protest the murder of 18-year old Michael Brown by a white cop, Darren Wilson, in Ferguson, 2014. Wilson was found not guilty by a grand jury. "Hands up, Don't Shoot" became a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter protestors.

"River Prayer" [1/52]

Here we go again :) I said I was going to do a 52 week project again and I'm going to try my best to keep to it again.

This image was taken during Promoting Passion convention last year in Buffalo, NY on a gorgeous property. I've posted a few pictures from it, like the red tree and the moon in the lake.

This image was taken during Joel Robison Photography's workshop. After I watched his demo, I helped others with their conceptual ideas. Something about this lady caught my eye and really drawn me to the idea of prayer. Maybe I was looking for a way to be creative again, maybe I wanted to work with someone new to me, or maybe I just saw a pretty spot and wanted someone there. Doesn't matter. I scooped her up as soon as she was done with another photographer. I brought her over to the side of everything. Someone was generous to hold a big tree branch back as I caught the angle I wanted for my image. I sat on this image for a while. I couldn't quite figure out what I wanted it to say yet but I'm finding more often now that my work has given me stories over me creating stories and forcing my images to show those stories.

It's a new adventure for me to give up being in control of certain things. Everything has to be how I like it or it's nothing to me. I see myself as a very controlling person in some regards. I suppose it's fear of the unknown, fear of possibly not being able to adapt, or fear that I'm not good enough.

My entire life has been about trying to control certain situations so that I can look as good as I possibly can. Being bullied as a child has long term aftereffects. I want to stop blaming these past traumas and hold myself more accountable. I'm not my past and my past will never be who I am today.

“Another head hangs lowly

Child is slowly taken

And the violence, caused such silence

Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it’s not me

It’s not my family

In your head , in your head they are fighting”

Zombie By the Cranberries

I was going to attach the audio of an Air Force or National Guard Jet, diving at our Motorhome. But, I like this picture to much to have a play icon, stuck in the middle of it. I’ll post the audio, to another post. It is one of the many, many acts, I’ve caught on audio. This is our government using its Military; to stalk, harass, intimidate and bait, a US Citizen, on US Soil. There are thousands of Targeted Individuals, in the United States. These American Whistleblowers, Targets, are being used as Test Subjects. For Physiological and Electronic Torture. 60 Minutes (CBS), did a Segment on this; Episode 23, aired 2-20-22, Americans Targeted. I commend them on their efforts to expose this.

In this Segment; American victims, described these Electronic Attacks. Some at our Capitol. They and their family members acquired, devastating medical conditions from these attacks. One government official; described the attacks on his children, while they were sleeping. He said they would toss, turn, there would be a loud noise admitting around their heads. Once removed from the area; they stopped. They suffered from numerous medical conditions. He said he wished our Government would stop Gaslighting, and do something.

Another woman, describing how her child went blind in the right eye. If you have the time, I encourage you to educate yourself on what is really happening in America. You will need a Paramount +, subscription, to stream 60 Minutes that far back. It’s your America, It's worth watching.

During the segment; our own CIA Director, said he doesn’t know who or how they are doing it. I call Bullshit! Mr. CIA Director, if you want to know about Electronic Torture, come see me; Rick Pineiro, now in Grand Junction, Colorado, area. These people have no boundaries. I have 14 years of Targeted experience. It’s pretty much the same Bullshit with our FBI Director, Homeland Security Director and Justice Department. It doesn’t matter what administration is in power. Our Government and many legislators are beyond corrupt. They are what have gotten us here today. Power and Control.

As America continues to astonish the world with its barbaric behavior. Our Government continues to release and duplicate its Zombies, in our communities. These aren’t real Zombies, but are the bottom feeders, the village idiots, sociopaths and self anointed narcissus. They live in every American Community. These are Americans; laying in wait for the next Target to come to their community. Yep, the Boogieman is here, they have no rights, this is America. Their goal is to rid their communities of anyone, they feel not worthy, of living within their communities. Kinda reminds you of the KKK. Guided by Contractors and Branches of our Government; these people have no boundaries, no accountability. And, this is why many local law enforcement agencies, turn a blind eye, or, participate. Kinda reminds me of the KKK, again. I read about them, but not in our schools.

These Americans will use local law enforcement, children, animals, pets, guns, vehicles, Physiological and Electronic Torture. They will destroy your life. They will bait you, discredit you, rally a community against you. Mob you, stalk you, harass you, illegally watch, video and record everything in your life. They and government contractors will use Physiological and Electronic Torture. They will use these tactics; Gaslighting, perform Street Theater, and Baiting you. At VA Clinics, Hospitals and other Medical Facilities. This is what you call Gang Stalking in America. I call it Domestic Terrorism. Our Homeland Security Secretary, wants to increase this type of community hate. He wants more Community Involved Monitoring. These people allowed roaming free across America, without consequence for their actions.

As I composed these 5 images, I took for this picture; someone very close started firing off riffle rounds. Bullets, whizzing not far overhead. When I set up to take pictures this morning (7-6-22), someone starts firing a high-powered rifle in the background. When I stepped out of our Motorhome today, to move our solar panels; someone started shooting a high-powered rifle over our Motorhome. Rounds whizzing over it, as I moved the panels. Koda, inside barking. Then they started firing rounds, into the hill I was taking pictures from this morning. It was just to the front of our camp.

Mr. Homeland Security, CIA and FBI Directors. This happens in Colorado (where I currently am), Wyoming, Arizona and Utah. When I was in the Military, I expected live rounds, aircraft diving overhead; I lived it. I didn’t expect it across, state by state; in the United States of America. This is what happens to brave Americans; trying to expose the truth about Corruption, Electronic Torture and Gang Stalking. It would be great if one of you Directors, would grab your balls, and find a grain of that type of courage!

Until we remove ourselves of our corrupt officials, it will only get worse. Many years ago; I predicted mobbing would eventually get to the point; where Law Enforcement could not control these mobs. Just look through my photostream. Here we are, folks. Aren't you proud! Now I’m going to have Billy-Bob, and his Sister’s Daughter Wife, chase me down in a big pickup truck. Brandishing oversized, American flags in the bed. Go American Education System; showing yourself so vividly.

This photo and all in my photostream are free to download, print, and share. All I ask is you keep my Trade Marks and share something with someone in need. Maybe a couple bottles of water, or a sandwich. You would be surprised how much people do have in common.

I’ve rambled on long enough for today. Violence is not the answer, please educate yourself.

Thanks for visiting our photostream.

THE SITUATION IN MINEAPOLIS

I thought it would be useful to offer you some first-hand perspective of what’s happening here as I don’t think people who are watching from afar quite understand what is unfolding, how it feels, and what it means.

In Minneapolis we are living under a fascist assault, and most of our institutions appear to be failing us, including the law, the government, our elected leaders, and the media.

There are masked, highly armed men roaming our city in unmarked cars terrorizing us, assaulting us, kidnapping us, and now killing us. They have attacked my friends’ kids’ school, teargassing students, staff, and community members. Many of my non-white friends are carrying their passports with them at all times now. A friend of mine was assaulted, kidnapped and illegally detained for about 9 hours. Here is her account:

youtu.be/Inn-sfiMcyE?si=G69LrIXMJ2Trrt_l

There is no due process, there is zero regard for the law, there is no regard for safety of anyone, and so far there has been no institutional check on their violence and intimidation. People are disappearing with no way to find out where they were taken. The police are nowhere to be seen, so the lawlessness is becoming increasingly brazen.

They are also joined by outside provocateurs and agitators. One image that got a lot of play in the media was a man burning an American flag. What is less known is that he was masked, no one knows who he is, and he left immediately after creating the spectacle. Some protestors followed him asking who he was or where he was from but he refused to respond and left the scene.

No one is helping us, so we are having to do it ourselves. We have people who are too scared to leave their homes so thousands of us are quickly mobilizing to join neighborhood chats and resource sharing to get groceries and supplies to families that need them. We are keeping eyes on ICE activities and alerting our neighbors of their presence whenever and wherever we can. We are organizing peaceful protests and trying to demand accountability from our leaders. The people responding are not far-left agitators or extremists. These are neighbors from every walk of life who are stepping in where our institutions are failing us, documenting the hundreds of crimes being inflicted on us daily, sharing information in real time, sharing food, and resources. And yes, we are pissed, and sometimes things get heated, but the David/Goliath dynamics here cannot be overstated.

I don’t use the term fascism lightly or carelessly. I really hope people can understand crystal clear the implications of what is happening.

The other day Mayor Frey told a reporter that yes, legally the police could and should arrest the people doing this to us. But, he said there are more of them and they have more guns. Let that sink in. The people who are supposed to be keeping us safe, who took an oath to defend us and the constitution, who are supposedly trained and armed and paid to do just that, appear to be either too scared, or indifferent, so it has fallen upon us to keep our neighbors safe, and to fight for our rights.

If this administration is allowed to so brazenly trample our civil liberties in such a public and spectacular way, with zero accountability, and zero checks on their power, then the game’s up. This is a constitutional crisis. This administration has said it doesn’t care about the constitution and is daring constitutional institutions to do something about it and they are not.

We are all terrified. But here in Minnesota we are standing up for each other, for our safety, our rights, and our lives, and praying our institutions may come around and decide to join us. It is incredibly inspiring to watch the community come together for mutual aid, defense and support. And seeing it makes me so so hopeful. Do not feel defeated. Organize your own community and understand the way we make it out of this is together. Find the people who have been fighting fascism for decades, learn from them, plug into those networks, build power, and don’t let fear lead to inaction because that is how they win.

My grandfather on my father's side was a staunch pro-Union and pro-Labor Democrat who worked hard all his life and raised 5 boys. He often quoted the saying, "I may not agree with a word you say but I will defend with my life your right to say it."

Freedom of Speech is important in this country but when you use your freedom to oppress the rights of others, and lately to legislate against them, I have a problem with that. Because, hate will not make America a great country. Kindness will.

Somewhere, in an alternate reality I would rather live in, all of the homophobes that force trans people into bathrooms they don't feel comfortable and people of color or different sexual or identity orientations into situations where they feel unloved, unsafe, and where they are not free...well, in my alternate reality, these hateful humans keep their mouths shut because they know that there's a strong movement and a community behind all of those who believe in truth, and justice and who still struggle and they know their actions against these people will be held accountable.

Your movement is our movement. Thanks to all of the trans women who marched with us yesterday as well. We will not defeat fascism without a strong community that offers peace and home and harmony. We will not be better humans or make a better world if we do not welcome everyone who is oppressed.

I'll say it again: Your movement is our movement and if you are a homophobe or a transphobe, then you are not truly part of this movement.

Democracy must be built through open societies that share information. When there is information, there is enlightenment. When there is debate, there are solutions. When there is no sharing of power, no rule of law, no accountability, there is abuse, corruption, subjugation and indignation.

"At a time when $700 billion can be found overnight to bail out the richest bankers in the world and $1000 billion can be spent on one single “war,” when sovereign wealth funds in a few rich countries alone are at $2500 billion and growing, it stretches credulity when we are told that the world can’t find an extra $18 billion a year to save the lives of millions of children and women and meet the basic needs of the majority of the world’s population."

---- Global Director, U.N. Millennium Campaign, Salil Shetty www.hindu.com/2008/10/08/stories/2008100855121100.htm

Another 40 million people have been pushed into hunger in 2008 primarily due to higher food prices, according to preliminary estimates published by FAO. This brings the overall number of undernourished people in the world to 963 million, compared to 923 million in 2007 and the ongoing financial and economic crisis could tip even more people into hunger and poverty, FAO warned.

Nearly one billion people go hungry each day, 65 percent of them in just seven countries: India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Ethiopia and Congo, reported the UN food agency ( www.fao.org/news/story/en/item/8836/ ). “For millions of people in developing countries, eating the minimum amount of food every day to live an active and healthy life is a distant dream”, said FAO’ Assistant Director-General Hafez Ghanem.

The globalisation had to ensure the maximum good for the maximum numbers around the world and not just the privileged few who got richer under the corrupt political regime. It is true that every successful economy is a market economy, the problem lay in the way it evolved in the corrupt regime which privatised profits and socialised losses. That is not capitalism. The current crisis showed that system was inadequate to cope with the changing situation. The societies needed to practise social responsibility throughout their business, ensuring that they did not make profits by harming lives, livelihoods and the environment.

Eight years ago, in 2000, leaders of 189 countries signed the Millennium Declaration agreeing to do everything in their power to end poverty. They pledged to do this by achieving the Millennium Development Goals, a roadmap to end extreme poverty by 2015. Are we even half way to meeting the eight Millennium Development Goals?

Still, every day, 50,000 people die as a result of extreme poverty and the gap between rich and poor people is increasing. Nearly half the world’s population live in poverty, 70% are women.

We have the power to change this. Push your governments for peace, more and better aid, debt cancellation, education for all boys and girls, healthcare, trade justice, gender equality and public accountability.
